Bulls held on after Middleton went down. Series tied 1-1.

Dante Exum is killing it in the Euro League. His body has finally caught up, and I would really love to sign him in the off season as a replacement for Iguodala.

Dante Exum kind of had his coming out party at the Olympics. I'm really surprised he wasn't on an NBA roster this year.

Great dunks, but he isn't killing it in the EL... he's averaging 8/3/2 in 17 mpg!

Besides injuries, I thought his problem was that he couldn't consistently shoot in the NBA.

There are tons of wings with all-world athleticism but few of them develop consistent shot for the modern NBA game.

You are correct, but I think Exum is barely average, in terms of athleticism, for the NBA level of competition.

Even in those dunks Coxy posted you can see he's never rising above "elbow at the rim" levels when he jumps.

My recollection was that he moves pretty quickly with the ball. I don't know if it was before his injuries but he had one playoffs game vs. the Warriors where he hit a couple of 3s and got to the basket too easily but I think the Warriors had a big lead and he just made it more respectable for awhile.

This was when Hayward was still on the Jazz.

And then not. Minny is so inconsistent
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

KAT is soft. Crazy how easily he gets thrown off his spots. Can never properly post up and seal off someone who gives up a lot of size.

He hasn't played well. But he's getting a bad whistle. Made him less aggressive in trying to stay in the game but he's not rebounding or scoring.

Wolves played so well in game 1, which was competitive most of the game and they had to keep sustaining their scoring the whole game.

In game 3, they thrived off some turnovers and stops to get out in transition but then they got really passive when Memphis was making those runs.

I don't know if that coach has any ideas about trying to stop momentum or getting the players to stick to the game plan which got them off to a great start.

Or do they have a game plan?

KAT should be feasting on his matchups but he deferred to Edwards and Russell. When they're going well, they're great shot makers but those are high difficulty shots which are not sustainable.

Someone posted Chuck's record in one stretch of his career.

Swept first round
Didn't make the playoffs
Lost in first or second round.

Chuck and Shaq thinks KAT should have just played bully ball. But he was getting called for offensive fouls, for barely any contact on screens. No way they're letting him back and push some defender down.

Oh and Shaq didn't have success in the playoffs until he had better players on his teams.

If he's deferring to a inexperienced second year 20 year old Edwards, DLo, and Beverley then that's an issue. For years he's been put in position to be the face of the Timberwolves and leader of his team for years and isn't he trying to play up to his upcoming contract? Also watching all his fouls, the push offs, over the backs, leg kicks, moving screens etc etc. They're all warranted. He looks like rookie Wiseman out there. Could he have gotten away with some? Who knows, he should play like he's aware IMO

There's a good gap between KAT and someone like Jokic who really leads and elevates his team.

KAT....and "guys" like him. Harden is likely another one.

I can't believe the Wolves lost that game....amazing. I mean they were up by 20 late and Memphis was doing everything to lose that game. Shows you what real toughness is and how fragile a team of puffs like the Wolves are.

The Wolves seriously need to consider cashing in on KAT shortly. Sure he's a talented guy, but when your franchise is led by a guy who doesn't give a rats bum like this, it sets a culture. I'd be stacking assets in a trade for him, and build around Antman.

Interesting to watch the next generation of super star point guards have huge problems as other teams focus on them ...
LIKE THEY HAVE ON CURRY FOR YEARS! lol

Welcome to the playoffs young guns....ain't easy when teams decide to stop you.
