Finch is a good coach so he should adjust for game 3. Again…need DLo to go into HAM mode and play like he did Vs the clippers

He asked for playoff atmospheres from the crowd mid season…now he needs to deliver playoff performances.

But it’s a pattern for dlo this year. 2 turds in a row and Next he will go for 37. Last nights turd by ant didn’t surprise me either. Sadly I was expecting it to be honest

This team really underutilizes KAT's 3 point shooting..he should be getting atleat 5 3pt shot attempts every match. KAT is also stubborn at times with trying to do too much. It's kinda frustrating

I agree with the bolded, but here in the USA we call it a game. Are you European or where are you from?

haha I do currently live in USA but I grew up and spent most of my life in Asia

Using the word Match was a dead giveaway that you came from other parts. :D

And set 3s..none of these contested 3s from frustration with 16 seconds left on the shot clock

That was just abysmal again from Russell. 2 games in a row. What a completely soft player.
Just an awful defender. ball watching, slow, no clue what to do on his rotations, we tried to hide him on a non-threat and he still found a way to blow up our defense. V8 only 9 minutes was a big mistake, the defensive drop off is noticeable when he's off and we go small.
MCD is a good defender but has a long way to go offensively.

Memphis made great adjustments and we collapsed.
Their main weakness is lack of secondary ballhandling/shot creation outside of JA.
I expected to see more of Tyus and Melton to adjust, and both played well.
It's clear Clarke gives us problems on the interior and is a better defensive matchup for them.
That lineup with JJJ at the 5 and Clarke at the 4 is the most effective against us.
And Tillman too strong for NAZ and our smallball lineups, exposed us badly.

We played right into their hand on the offensive end. All those long contested jumpers were exactly the shots they wanted us to take.
They did a lot of switching and we did way way way too much dribbling and not enough moving, passing, or cutting.
Extremely poor job of getting into an effective offensive set after our secondary break was stopped.
FInch needs to fix that because all of the bad shots on offense were leading to breaks and easy points for the Grizzlies.

Of course KAT going berserk again with stupid fouls taking himself out of the game took alot of firepower off the floor.
Kicking his leg out like an idiot. I thought the charge could have gone either way, Morant was still sliding at point of contact.
Really hard to win in the playoffs when your 2 max players have such a hard time bringing their A game mentally.

They need to reconsider the high wall because Ja is carving it up pretty easily. Either trap or drop.
Ant did a pretty good job, but you're risking foul trouble for him if you put him on Ja full time.
Ja and JJJ aren't great shooters and homecourt should help with the energy.

This Kat kicking the foot out thing is really ticking me off. Then he has the nerve to deny it. Is he lying to himself and he believes it?

Check out this Pioneer press article....

You know what's great about that article? Just below the video showing him obviously kicking out on the shot, it shows him shooting in the all-star 3 pt contest and not once did he kick out when shooting and winning the contest. Not once!

He's like a little kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar saying I didn't take a cookie. It's so disappointing. He's such a fine player to stoop so low. I don't get it. Is he trying to draw a foul or hurt the opponent?

He’s always been childish. Nothing new to see here.
Nothings is ever his fault.
This is why he whines and cries and complains constantly.
What man, real man, complains and whines about much of anything? Sure it’s a new generation and “it’s ok to share your feelings”, whatever, suck it up little Meow. You kicked out, just admit your wrong doing and move on and we all forget about it. But sit and deny it, pretty much lie about it, now you’re just making it a bigger mole hill.

I didn't get to see this game. Can you tell me why Vanderbilt only played 9 minutes? He's one of my fav Wolves and in general I expect him to need to play big minutes in this series.

Because when you’re down double digits, he doesn’t have any offensive game to help generate a comeback so finch went with all scorers

I honestly think he doesn't realize when he does it. JimPete has mentioned this often with the arms that he struggles to control the limbs and probably doesn't even realize he's doing it. That's why you see him arguing so passionately that he didn't do it, because he truly believes he didn't in the heat of the moment.

I’ve played plenty of basketball to know the feeling of thinking I hit the ball, it was clean, I had my feet set. Blah blah blah. But I’ve been on the other side of it too when I’ve been hit, and the other guys says they got all ball, etc etc. trust me I know the feeling.
KAT has played ball at an elite level for YEARS. He should have this figured out by now. Sometimes you may not think it wrong, you may think you were in the right, and most often, usually, the refs got it right, or pretty close. So shut the **** up, and get on to the next play. He needs to stop letting **** get under his skin so easy. It makes him press harder which ultimately causes him to create more problems for himself and the team.
