If you listened to Bill Simmons pod last night, he extolled the virtues of the Celtics home court advantage, said best in the league. Rusillo then brought up Milwaukee, and Simmons doubled down on Boston.

Would be a traves-shamockery if Milwaukee fans sold their game one and two tickets to Bulls fans on Stub Hub.

we'll be there in round 2. no point in spending money on this series.

I'll be going and trying my best to distribute to friends and family. At the same time though, STH get a bad rap in these situations. Not selling the ticket for say $150 and going to the game is the same opportunity cost as a regular spending $150 to go to the game. Anyone who doesnt go to the game is just as bad as a STH not going to the game as both had the choice to either go to the game or have $150 in their pocket....... except the STH probably went to 20-30 games during the year and saw more Lindell Wigginton in the last 4 months than one needs in a whole lifetime.

I do my best to sell playoff tickets i can't attend on those WI marketplaces. I know it's not foolproof but majority of people on there are WI fans. I also probably sacrifice a few $ doing this. My game 1 & 2 tickets sold within 5 minutes last night on a marketplace but I had them priced pretty reasonable.

5:30 CT start. I think my STH group has two tickets close to face for sale, upper deck row 5 if there is interest. Just want locals to use them!

Fiserv doors will open 90 minutes prior to tip this year throughout the playoffs. Good change. This should help tremendously with the line buildup before the games.

Especially since they moved the screen to the north side it looks like it could be even more congested then last year if they didn't open up earlier.

Security before entering DD was awesome. Relied so much pressure at the doors from what I could tell.

It definitely helped as well as opening doors 90 minutes prior. I would still like to see some type of security to get into the fiserv as well though and not just once to get into the district.

Does anybody know how you use that $50 credit from the playoff pre-sale? Thanks!

I got kicked out of the arena last night and I want to see if I'm the a**hole here.. My buddy and I stood for most of the game, we were in section 113 a few rows from the top. Once some kids behind us asked us to sit down I did, my buddy did not. He refused because it is a playoff game and we were surrounded by Bulls fans. Whatever, he is an adult who can make his own decision and the ushers said we could stand as long as we weren't cursing, misbehaving, etc..

Fast forward to halftime and we are sitting down, a gentlmen walks by us and makes a snarky comment follow by a curse, not a big deal I just let it go. Once the third quarter was under way I jumped up after a three pointer to high five my buddy and when I turn around the same man gives me both middle fingers, so of course by now I'm annoyed so I give him the one finger salute right back. Well someone from his group tells an usher that I used an obscene gesture and I get a talking to by security and I got issued a red card (warning card) even though this other guy did it first.

After pleading my case I was "allowed" to return to the game and on my way up I waved at this dude and then he makes a comment about dick size, so naturally I want to get him back so I tell the usher and she ended up kicking me out because I WAVED. Meanwhile nothing happens to this dude.

All of this started because we were standing during a PLAYOFF game. What a joke. AITA here?

Sounds like you are both the a-hole, imho. You were told not to curse/misbehave/etc...and then you did.

Hard not to take the bait so I get it to a point. That's why I never go to Bulls, Cubs or Bears games here. Too many mouth breathers.

Standing during the entirety of a game is pretty questionable and I'm a big stander.

I've been to big games where people stood for almost the entire game. This one probably would not have been one of them. I imagine a lot of people would have sat down pretty quick after the 4 TOs in 2 minutes start.

Yup, really no reason to be standing the entire game last night, playoff game or not. It doesn't make you louder. It doesn't make you closer to the court. There are many times when I stand of course. Bucks down 9-0 in the first quarter isn't one of them.

Fair point, I also suggested to my friend that we exchange seats with these people since we were only 5 rows from the back. They were his tickets though and he insisted on standing.. whatever

I'll take my punches, hopefully I'll be allowed back

Honestly, your friend and the guy behind seems like an **** - no reason ever to get angry or be that stubborn. You were being an idiot (not really an ****) for reacting. IMHO
I get up a lot to cheer (not necessarily stand the whole time) and cant fathom why people go to a playoff to not get excited. Like they are getting pissed because other people are getting into the game. If you want to sit that badly, buy a front row upper deck (better view than most seats) or offer a beer to swap seats.

Happy accident is that my playoffs seats are in front of jockey crew. Wouldnt like them in the regular season but a blast in the playoffs. Dont have to worry about standing at all.
