Who will say no to a Gobert + Bogdanović for Capela +Bogdanović + Gallinari trade? Hawks get the best defender and Jazz get off of Gobert's big contract and the younger Bogdanović.

Hawks say no. Gobert is the most dominant defensive big - problem is: in the modern nba you need good perimeter defense first.

He might get Gobert a 20ppg season with the amount of lobs he’d throw — certainly more than anyone on the Jazz give him.

Hell no. They beat alot of legit contenders, Hofers and made b2b finals. They were a legit core.

Imagine 2 top 3 players at their position playing 15+ seasons together and only making two finals in today's critical climate. They would be getting slandered forever. Kyrie/KD, LeBron/AD, Embiid/Simmons, Mitchell/Gobert. etc. All have had gotten way more slander in a lot less time.

Rubio does the two things Mitchel can't. Passes and plays defense.

No way in hell Gobert wants to play with Trae after Mitchel. The last thing he wants is to play with a complete turn style star guard.

Probably the Hawks in 2015 or the Raptors in 2018. Both 1st seeds who got swept by the weakest versions of LeBron's Cavs (during his 2nd stint)
