I'll go on record and say that I like the fit between Mitchell and Graham... and they should have prior chemistry as they were high school teammates. Devonte' being a willing passer should help Gobert a lot. Graham actually made Bismack look nearly serviceable offensively a couple years ago, which only he and CP3 have ever done.

I don't think NOP should have to trade Nance for that.

How far off is this?

Graham/Nance for Clarkson/Gay

*Only really makes sense for the Jazz if they're moving 1 of Conley/Mitchell in another deal and they need someone with some more PG skills.

I'm not sure I like it for either team, but I have Graham and Clarkson pretty close value-wise. Both are having bad years after previously showing better play. Nance has been instrumental for NOP I don't think they move him in something like this.

That's fair on valuing Nance, do you feel it's more appealing to NO as Clarkson/Gay for Graham? Utah saving some money instead of adding the rotation forward.

Yeah, I have Nance as the most valuable asset in the trade and whether you think Graham or Clarkson is the more likely of the two to return to form is sort of a 50/50 bet.

Think I'd be willing to re-visit those Don to Sac deals we saw a few of earlier. Barnes/matching/picks/youth for Don, maybe a 3rd team if Holmes is the matching to better balance the Utah roster after (CHA/DAL?).

If it's just Barnes/Donte/#7 how many additional 1sts are needed from SAC?

What does a Mitchell to Orlando deal look like? How do they value their numerous young guys?

Trying to come up with deals that bring back a young forward already showing a lot to Utah (Wagner, looked at Avdija as well, but couldn't find a deal at all with WAS)

If I start with Fultz/Wagner/filler what picks are they willing to add, do they consider #2?

How about a graham for clarkson straight up and maybe pels adding a future 2nd? Graham might fit better in utah while clarkson may fit that microwave bench player for nola..at least clarkson and Alvarado can play together unlike with Graham and Alvarado together.

Pels will also have 15 guaranteed contracts for next season already including that 1st round pick coming in.

This doesn't feel particularly fair to me. The team has defects in its current construction. Charlotte fans?

It feels like an MJ regressing into his old bad habits. Sure they’ve disappointed in the play ins, but their roster is oddly put together. I want Detroit to hire him as a lead assistant, assuming no one gives him a better offer/opportunity

What kind of stuff do you do to play through this? Like are they going to give him some kind of numbing injection?

The Celtics have a roster of guys who fit their scheme very well. Everybody is a very good or better defender, and quite switchable, except Payton Pritchard. And he's adequate/meh rather than a liability. (And saw his playing time evaporate despite last season's strong shooting until that became true.)

This became true after a midseason trade flurry that reversed almost every offseason acquisition except Horford.

It's hard to see anybody in the rotation being replaced except with another guy who fits similarly well, and there aren't a lot of those around.

Oh yeah -- a further complication is that the Cs barely have as much shooting as they need. The Jays, Grant Williams and Pritchard are good 3-point shooters. Smart, White, Horford and Theis are ... often adequate.
Rob Williams doesn't shoot 3s at all (but is an excellent passer from the perimeter). So the Cs can't really afford trades that weaken their shooting.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

Kupchaks decision mainly due to the poor defense and not holding young players accountable.
There is definitely some truth in that, a lot of half assed defense was played.

I’d love for the Hornets to steal MDA and make a Hayward+picks for Gobert type trade.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

So not sure the source, but the leaking of the story that Dallas tried to attach picks to Brunson to get Haliburton in his draft class sure seem intended to try and drive a wedge between Dallas and Brunson--like see they tried to trade you, they don't value you. Now his dad is out saying no discounts.

Trying to recognize this as spin by his agent, or by a team looking to sign him, but I've been afraid they are going to lose him and this isn't helping my anxiety lol.

I would put far more stock in Brunson's level of play rather than this spin. He is likely commanding somewhere around FVV money.

Yeah, I think the pistons are ready to back up the Brinks truck. Plus he probably has a bigger role there
