This shows really well why I was mad at KD(and to a lesser extent KAI). KD's court vision was brutal and refuses to trust team mates with easy passes. Celtics knows his spots and instead of accepting the doubles/defense, and passing out of it, he is trying to brute force score. :nonono:

Everyone blames Nash but he can't force KD to pass the ball. Blame pie for game 2 was 80% KD & KAI, 20% Nash imo.

Also Drummond needs to come off the bench. He's basically a zero out there.

I guess KD wasn't selfish in GS because they had a system that shared the ball, and he trusted that he'd get the ball back.
And in OKC he wasn't selfish because Westbrook "controlled" things.

You can say that for sure but, it's up to coach to understand what your best players strengths and what they struggle with. I mean just watch that entire thread  it's comedy central with no adjustment being made.

I also get where you coming from with KD and Kyrie thing. It's just let's keep it buck here, they not playmakers by any means and if game planned properly, can be liabilities. Pretty much what we witnessed first two games. Ime knows them well enough, definitely knows their weaknesses. He also knows that Steve Trash incapable making adjustments either.

I mean at the end of the day we will come to one thing. Are they executing plays, follow question is...WHAT PLAYS ARE WE RUNNING, SYSTEM? C'mon man, we into game 3 playoffs and this clown still don't know s*** about rotations. I'm not making it up, he literally said it few hours ago. This clown don't even know how he should rotate players. You know why, because he has no system to fit them guys to. Iso and high PnR can only work during regular season, and even than we had opposing players saying it and telling entire world ain't big of a deal ( forgot who they were but it's out there ). Nah man ( and I'm tired to death saying same thing over and over again ), there's a reason why same coaches win rings every time. MJ and Kobe has 0 rings between them without Zen. They were great, zen made them special. That's what coaches supposed to do.

Actually i take that back. I blame Nash and Marks for fostering an environment that made these guys think that going out there playing streetball is good enough to win in the NBA playoffs where strategy and execution are paramount to winning.

No wonder D'Antoni hauled ass out of here.

You know what? A sweep needs to happen. Durant and Irving need a serious wake up call.

That's why I'm not mad at Harden. He figured what's up and decided to bounce. He knows to trust Morey and know Kyrie won't be an issue. 6's can actually replicate same thing in Philly if they get Dame or Beal. Biid unlike KD is hungry.

No hard feelings here. Co sign here with you.

The Nash report from Shams is funny. I 100% believe that if the Harden drama didn't go down - Nash would've been fired mid-season. With all the drama we've had this year - I think the team didn't want to add another story line. I've been saying for a while - he's getting fired unless we make a Finals run. I think everyone is aware that the Nash and all the head assistants are complete garbage.

I don't really expect many adjustments this game. Our 1st half gameplan worked 100% for G2. We started the game actually running offense - forcing Boston to make decisions on defense - and our roleplayers were cooking. We scored 61 and the stars didn't do much. We swarmed Tatum and shut them down until we started leaving Grant Williams wide open for no reason. In the 2nd half, we stopped passing the ball. We stopped running plays. Everything just fell apart from there when the crowd got into it. As much as I want to put this on the coaching staff - when your top guys are consistently making terrible decisions, there's no game plan that fixes that. We've been swarming Tatum this series too but he's been trusting his teammates. Making simple passes and being patient.

The only thing I see potentially happening is Blake playing center if we struggle. He stretches the floor a bit, he moves the ball - which we badly need this series, he can hang with guards better than Drummond + LMA. I don't really see any miracle fixes. Nothing tactically that's all that different from what we did in the first half of G2.

I'ld like to see some LMA. Imagine trying something new like dragic/lma pick and roll with Kyrie and Durant in the corners for spacing/attention. + Brown/Edwards/Curry for different grades of defense/offense. Our D would take a hit, but the O would have potential since we can't hope for much off ball movement by nash

I said it in Game 2 and I'll say it again: Durant is the one who is hurting the Nets the most. If he makes the simple read and doesn't try to force things, we can score on Boston easily because their defensive scheme has a lot of holes in it: if you play team basketball against it.

Udoka has KD and Kyrie pegged man. He knows them too well and KD continues to play into his hands like a dope

2h.14min mark they spoke on it lightly, but if you'll be able to find a video of the game watch closely what them people did in a back ground. It'll catch your attention.
