IND when they had Paul George and Roy Hibbert.

Maybe the Nets?

Nets aren't frauds. They just keep getting unlucky with injuries

He might get Gobert a 20ppg season with the amount of lobs he’d throw — certainly more than anyone on the Jazz give him.

This is exactly what gobert needs....he is inept at scoring on anything but lobs. I know people love to say he's been "exposed " but the only thing exposed is that the rest of the jazz defense sucks....especially on the perimeter. Rather than addressing it the jazz brought in Whiteside so that they could mimic Rudy's defense when he rested.

As a jazz fan, I hope they move on from Snyder and probably Mitchell as well...he'll probably get the most assets even though what he brings is more easily replaced than what Gobert brings.

there was always something wrong with the fragility of gobert/mitchell.

mitchell had to be superman all the time. and the team of mitchell/gobert/ingles + old conely + clarkson was specious at best. i don't know how snyder did it honestly that he was able to make people think utah was a contender.

they never were TRULY a contender, you know. too young to be and now the league has passed them by. more contenders and they are still the same. utah is the most nondescript team in the nba

As a bunch of others said, Gobert and Mitchell aren’t going to get it done as a core and the rest of this team is pretty old so its past time to blow it up.

They need to blow it up, but they absolutely, positively will not. Jazz for 40 years have been a really good playoff team that’s not good enough to win it all. It’s profitable, and that’s okay.

They’ll likely move Conley as he’s clearly declining, and they need to get bigger, longer and better defensively.

I'd hate to give up Giddey but I'd take that deal if I'm Presti.

I don't see the Jazz getting much value for Conley tbh.

Good answer!

At least the pacers had given for the most part a good battle vs Miami outside of 2014 when Hibbert had become awful in the second half of the season.

With all the hype the Nets had, it's a big disappointment...I've always considered the Jazz a contender but last year and this year, it's very disappointing since they weren't able to take advantage of injuries by Kawhi and Luka. But The Jazz havenever been elite in the regular season outside of 2021 so not surprising they were never in the WCF

Probably the 2006-2008 Wizards.

Wizards were not a contender.I mean,2006,they had 42 wins,2007,41 and 2008,it was 43.They were what they were!

i always said gobert mitchell were done same as embiid and simmons. you cant just force them to coexist when their fit are crap.
utah has been a treadmill team capped out with their 2 stars making most of the cap. they need to rebuild.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Warriors without Durant?

I think Atlanta, Portland and Charlotte will show interest in trading for Gobert this summer. Jazz will probably trade Gobert for assets they can retool with. If Mitchell wants out a year from now, the Jazz will probably then move him too, but they'll ask Donovan to give them a year or so to restructure the team.

The Spurs-like concept that the Jazz were built with is somewhat flawed for the way the league has been trending. Jazz now need to reset their playstyle and their timeline.
