Nash opting to have Durant stand around instead of running screen actions off ball to free him up is 95% of the reason why KD has been quiet.

Durant is actually playing smart this game. This isn't his fault it's Nash

Maybe he's conserving energy for the second half or lulling them to sleep? That's all I've got.

I would be happy its only a 3 point game considering how bad the Nets have played but that seems to have been the same **** for the whole series.

Durant loves isos.

It was one of the main reasons he left Golden State. To play more iso ball.

Suddenly he can't score on 1 on 1 isos now?

Are you serious?

Tatum is shutting him down.

Hes declined.

Since the achilles injury, hes been shooting more and more jump shots particularly the mid-range. This year he shot a career high in percentage of mid-range shots hes taken

Despite the stats hes putting up, his offensive game has become so one dimensional focused more on raising up on guys and scoring via length than craftiness/athleticism he used to score with both in OKC and GS. He looked amazing in the regular season because teams don't normally guard the mid-range because of how taxing it is on players but the Celtics have been doing a great job because of how stacked they are.

Did you watch KD last year in the playoffs or all of this year?

How can he just magically decline as soon as the series starts.

This isn't a decline. He is choking.

He's had a rough couple weeks before the series even started. He's been struggling for a while.

You see that performance from Michael King last night? That has to be one of the greatest relief outings I've ever seen.

Nash really sent Drummond back out to start the second half...

At least he called a quick timeout.. small victories, I guess.

This series is exposing KD’s BBIQ.

His combination of size and skills usually allows him to dominate his individual matchup. However, when you face an elite defensive team, you need IQ to dissect the defensive schemes they’re throwing at you and figure out different ways to score.

When KD is faces a problem, he tends to just pull harder rather than actually think and adjust his game to beat the defense.

KD calls for the ball at the high post almost every single time down the floor. Boston denies him as much as they can, and if he is able to catch the ball, they just swarm him. It’s idiotic to keep running and looking for the same thing.

Nash saying that we have to look for KD more and KD just needs to be more aggressive is foolish. That’s a recipe for disaster.
