I have watched Kd long enough to expect theses types of performances but he is on a different level of putrid basketball. That sniper mentality is gone. He’s too buddy buddy with the team trying to knock them out. It’s almost like he’s passing the torch to Tatum or something.

Can’t put my finger on it but this is the worst I’ve seen Durant play. I’ve been a fan of his since day one but the way he single handily killed this game makes my disgust peak.

Ben is most effective in transition. Having a PG who knows that we have to break at every chance, especially against a team win elite half court defense, will address one major issue.

I cannot see Tsai sitting back and thinking a healthy Simmons will cure everything next season as there are some serious issues with this team. Does he give Marks the ultimatum of firing Nash and if he chooses not to due to his relationship with Nash then does Tsai fire both of them?

You know what’s absolutely hilarious but so sad at the same time?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a former assistant coach come out and be so publicly confident about beating his former team.

Udoka has been so dismissive of Nash and confident that they can beat us in the press. And more power to him for actually backing it up.

It goes to show what a terrible job Nash has and is doing, and what a grave mistake Marks made in choosing him over the field.

Celtics great, physical defense + inept coaching + poor player BBIQ = disappointing result

This explains all of it for me. Running your offense out of isolations in the half court against an elite half court defense is like consistently running the football on 3rd & 10 and being shocked that you rarely pick up a 1st down.

The game plan is downright horrific.

Can you blame him? His team went 26-6 the last 32 games. They have played together all season and built consistency. Where as we have been all over the place between starting off the season with our best winning percentage to going on a 11 game losing streak. KD injured and Ky in and out. The Harden trade, etc.......

It takes time for a team to gel. Ask the Lakers.

Kinda feels like everyone on the team is buddy-buddy with the Celtics. Kyrie, Durant, Seth seem to treat them too nicely while the Celtics are hard bodying and howling the whole game. Besides Bruce the team is just so passive out there.

I'm watching the Raptors-sixers and they seem to have bad blood with each other. Despite the talent disparity and injuries the Raptors are competing hard and even won today despite being down 3-0.
