KD isnt a fraud. he is an MVP who has played at an MVP level for 3 teams. he went to the NBA finals with 2 of those teams and probably would have made it with us last year if Giannis didnt take out Kyrie... unless you think the hawks would have beat us.

I know the Boston fans are having a field day watching us melt down in this thread.

But at the end of the day, you still live in Boston.

So who really lost here?

Don't forget the idiot Sean Marks. And Joe Tsai for allowing all of this to happen.

This is a clown show.

The sad part is we could have easily won the first two games and this game wouldn't matter.

We were supposed to the be the most clutch team with the two most clutch players. Never mind!

Game 1, we couldn't get a single shot to put us up for good. And then had defensive breakdowns.

Game 2 we blew an easy lead.

Then Game 3 we just **** the bed entirely.

The only clown is me for believing this team had a chance but it’s so transparent the Nets window has shut. Teams are younger and built for these types of games. I am a little mad but mad that the team beat themselves most of this series. Boston will have to work a little harder next round.

idiotic statement.

KD is a top 3 player, Kyrie is at his peak. Simmons is all-nba on defense at a minimum. we are a top 4 team next year. regardless of what happens here. again, if nash comes back it doesnt matter.

people are just emotional because we are losing the series.

Prok, it's likely KD has declined a fair bit after the overuse this season.

Next year he will be one year older and will need to nurse his knee for 30 games at least in the regualr season.

Kyrie will always pull a Kyrie and will also have 30 games break at least.

Simmons might be the most consistent one without establishing a "Shot" still.

Well, at lease Nash might be gone along with Marks.

Good luck with being a top 4 team.

You have to go through enough practices to make sure its safe to come back.

Its about his long term health. You cant throw a guy in a game without ramping up to some degree.

Robert Williams went out there and was dogging us after coming off a meniscus tear.

I don't want to hear it.

It isnt. it is trash. Huge issue with racism and political corruption.

I had to move to rhode island because of harassment of my son in 2 different schools.

nothing worse then a place with a massive race problem that wont acknowledge the race problem

Nothing worse than a person who loves to weaponize racism as a defensive mechanism almost constantly. NYC has a pretty bad history with racism as well, as does almost 100% of the country. Let’s talk about it.

You probably wouldn’t, though.

We did him clutch shots late in game 1. we just made idiotic decisions late giving them a 2 for 1, open threes, and didnt call a timeout up 4 with the ball under 40 seconds to sub and draw up offensive and defensive plays.

game 2 we were up huge. we did the opposite of what you do to preserve a lead. we turned it over and gave them open threes.

if i was coach instead of nash, we leave boston up 2-0

NY openly admits the race issues they have and have invested in trying to combat it.

Boston denies theres and pretends its ok because "racism is everywhere"

Weaponize it? i literally had to leave the state because of it.

Dude, this is a sports forum. You constantly bring it up when no one is even talking about it. You weaponize it. I said it before, and I’ll say it again as a minority. It is completely f’d up the way you talk about race sometimes, and the manner you bring it into a topic of conversation.

For sure, send me any recommendations you got anytime. Either going in July or staying around there during the US Open in September.

Its relevant. the players on the nets and celtics have talked about it being an enormous problem. i didnt start the narrative. and the fans continue it by throwing stuff at kyrie and yelling racist stuff at him.

and im not gonna sit here and let people brush it away like "its sports" or "theres racist everywhere".

ive seen it hit too closely, in that city, to let it go cause you say "its ok". i dont give a crap if you are a minority or not. Boston is a racist trash place.

Well have fun going to Boston.

NYC is a world class city that rings bells world wide.

Boston is not even on the radar for most people outside of the East Coast.

The revised salary cap is doing its job. Big market teams with deep pockets just can't buy success anymore. You've got to do it the old fashioned way. Draft and develop.
