I mean...

Teams have gone from down 3-0 to down 3-1...

Teams have come back from down 3-1...

Only a matter of time until it happens.

As long as the NBA is around we’ll eventually see it, but maybe not in our lifetimes. There had never been a 3-1 comeback in the finals until it happened.

One question I don't know how to answer is how many teams have pushed a 0-3 to seven games and what percentage of teams down 0-3 have done so?

In 2003 the Blazers came back from 3-0 against the Mavs to tie it at 3-3, but the Mavs won Game 7. Blazers were even up 2 at the end of the 3rd, but the Mavs outscored them by 14 in the 4th and won going away.

I think that's the closest we've seen.

I think so...Doc Rivers has been building up to making sure it happens for his whole career. He even took the extra measure of coaching Harden, I think he's put together a serious contender to finally do it now.

I still remember that vividly. The relief I felt after that fourth quarter was immense. It felt like Bonzi Wells was killing us in that series

If there's one coach who has it in him its definitely Doc. Not only that, but he'd act completely indignant if a reporter dared to ask a question which seemed critical of him afterwards. As though he's a top 10 coach of all time or something.

3/143 series that have started 3-0 have gone to 7.

2003 Mavs/Blazers
1994 Jazz/Nuggets
1951 Royals/Knicks

I’ve often wondered how a team gets a 3-1 lead. Thanks for clarifying.

Ugh, seriously. I can't be the only one super annoyed by the constant Simmons fanfiction on here. People need to get the hell over it, this series is done. There's not gonna be any miraculous comeback and Simmons of all people sure as hell ain't going to cause one.

We'll see it eventually. With the 3ball revolution and injuries its gonna happen sooner than later. Look at all the 3-1 comebacks just in the past decade.

If we see one on this era on the losing side is probably Curry or Durant

Raptors would be coming back from down 0-3 if not for FVV’s hip strain.

Fvv has been a dumpster fire all series and he was ass against Philly in 19 too. With a rim protector like Joel his little ass is useless since he cant drive, has no post or mid game and is a streaky af 3pt shooter. They won game 4 without him.....
