Grizzlies and TWolves is going 6.
Suns are in trouble. Booker having a hamstring issue is not good.

I can't remember Durant ever looking this ordinary.
He's never looked this guard-able that I can remember.
Sick game-winner by Embiid in game 3 of their series.

Minnesota was leading 83-62 with 1:05 left to go in the 3rd quarter.
Memphis went on a 21-0 run to tie the game. Memphis literally scored 0 points over a 6:30 stretch!
Ultimately, Memphis went on a 30-5 run over 8 minutes to go up 93-88. Minnesota had a total of 2 FG's in the entire 4th quarter until Edwards hit a meaningless uncontested 3 with 11 seconds to go in the game.

They went in on Coach Finch here.
Also don't forget that the Grizz also went on a 15-0 run in the 1st half!

How on earth is Bobby Portis good for Milwaukee yet the Wizards let him walk?
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Javale McGee scored 15 points on only 8 fgas.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

I loved Bobby Portis in college. I thought he was going to be a stud. We both wanted him in the 2015 draft, if you recall -- but thought he wouldn't fall to #19 where we picked. In fact, he did -- but we'd already traded up to get Oubre.
He wasn't any good as a Wizard, CCJ. Then he got $16m from the Knicks, & he wasn't any good for them. He was on his way out of the league to tell the truth.
Milwaukee picked him up for $3.6m. I guess he saw the light, b/c he certainly played well for them last year. He hasn't been nearly as good this year, though he had a very good game 3 vs. the Bulls.
Noone's ever doubted his talent.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 5
I have no idea what would motivate someone to run on the court in the middle of a playoff
game as happened in game 4 in MINN. Honestly, what do they think is going to happen besides
paying a huge fine and possibly going to jail?

McGee always had elite level athleticism. After years of NBA experience, he has
now become a very good player. I believe it happened gradually over time. He's
darn good now.
Re Nets-Cs, not only is Tatum clearly outplaying KD, Jaylon Brown is outplaying
Kyrie.
BOS's role players are kicking ass. Freakin Theis and Pritchard and Grant Williams are all playing
winning basketball. Player development in BOS is clearly doing a great job.

Great comments all of them. Kuz is going to be a media star one day no doubt about it.
& every time Desmond Bane is mentioned I like to comment that Ruzious was all over this kid & we turned down a trade of Bertans for the pick that got him!

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 5
Seems like a vast majority of the pixelsphere is completely unhinged when it comes to Ben Simmons.
In what universe did it even remotely make sense to bring in a guy that's missed the entire season and hasn't even been with the franchise for more than a few months to compete in an elimination game?
Wouldn't expect any different from the clown show on TNT and Screaming A(hole), but even seemingly levelheaded people like Reggie Miller have completely lost their minds over this situation.
I've never been one to sip the Kool-aid on Simmons, but this is getting ridiculous, just let the man be already and stop it with all the nonsensical speculation.

Seriously.
I mean, as Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor has proven time and time again that no amount of embarrassment is going to make him change anything he does, do they really think he's going to mull ethical treatment of animals over these theatrics

I had no idea what she was protesting. I couldn't see from the TV coverage any sign or anything
else that would inform me about her grievance. I do support her right to have a sign at the game.
Running on the court is dumb.
