The Pelicans grabbing a game off the Suns and going into their home stretch at 1-1 makes you depressed about the Wolves grabbing a game off the Grizzlies and going into our home stretch at 1-1?

I get that the nature of today's loss was crap, but we're really positioned as well as we could have reasonably hoped for in this series so far

You see how much we struggle with the V8 situation on offense. Is Simmons so much better than V8 that you would want to pay him max money and take that degree of risk? We are looking more and more like the next Memphis. We will have interest, but much like the Lakers with Rus, we need to be very careful not to hurt our team.

Good news for the Wolves. Denver wins today to extend the series with the Warriors. They are very good, but they are also an injury waiting to happen.

if i trade simmons (assuming im the BKLN GM) for scraps, it's an admission the first trade was bad, and honestly i feel like admitting you made a mistake is a fireable offense. im not agreeing with that's how it should be. i think placing the blame on someone or something "outside of your control" can prevent you from being fired. i'm convinced that's how kahn stayed in power for as long as he did when he sold us that all we need is ricky rubio.

and the truth is i feel simmons' value is so low they should just keep him. like it's garbage levels of low when you know what his upside is.

edit: i'm not even sure i want him for free. i don't know what the right answer is when it comes to simmons. his value and potential is all over the place.

The #2 salary in Basketball joins #3 and #4 in the eliminated club. Glad these clubs don’t get extra revenue to help further pollute this game. Warriors and Bucks getting eliminated would take numbers 1 and 5 out of the equation and hopefully prove that at least this year you cannot simply buy the championship.
