Bill Walton was commentating another game I watched and he referenced Koloko's smooth game for a big man. I feel that. The touch he has on his shot and his body control is quality.

In that same game they referred to him at times as Russell on defense and Olajuwon on offense. Lol.
They praised his footwork, which is huge for a big man. I can definitely see the growth potential with this kid. Natural flow to his game.

I mentioned Lewis somewhere earlier. He looks like what we want out of a small ball 4 type. If he can stick that corner 3, he’d be a worthwhile addition.

Awesome news. One pick difference can mean a lot.

He was mocked as a top five pick for this draft last year. Apparently he didn't progress at all since then.

I'm all for grabbing another big to develop. This draft has a few that could be special. Kamagate, Koloko, Ibou, and maybe this kid too.

Anyone who thinks were keeping this pick, with possible trades happening of Duncan, and parts. This pick is going to another team, bet.

ICC is saying we’re trading the pick, so don’t get attached.

A fun shenanigan is to type in English and Google translate through at least 1 other language:
“The ICC says we act voluntarily, so don't get involved.”
That’s the above text translating English->Bulgarian->German->English

I'm usually in the keep the pick camp, but with us being so deep into "win now" mode i'll be fine with a trade as long as is it bring in a legit starter in. a J.Geant type

Or just draft the next Giannis at #27, either way works for me

I like a lot of the players who should be available around when the Heat would pick, including Christian Koloko, the center from Arizona. He would be a good front court reinforcement, allowing perhaps Bam to step into power forward configurations. It would be pretty good. There are other young guards. Also, maybe Orlando would consider sending Miami their two early seconds in exchange for the firsts and something of mordor.

TBH unless the young big we pick is coming in with an established 3 point shot - we shouldn't even waste the pick.

We'll just have another Precious on our hands - an high upside kid that won't play more then 8 minutes because he doesn't compliment Bam.

If we go after a big - he better be a day 1 ready shooter.

I've really come away impressed with Koloko. He's my top prospect for us right now. He has all the measurable I think we need from a big man and his coordination and natural rhythm lead me to believe he could be a special find. Smart kid too. Easy pick for me.

Jake LaRavia is very interesting. Only 20 years old too.

Return to Miami Heat
