They didn’t have an option. He wanted out.

Sixers messed up by trading Curry & Drummond for Harden. He doesn't seem that engaged like his Houston days obviously the offense no longer runs through him I understand that, but feel like he's on a decline. Philly had a good center in Drummond to back up Embiid in case of foul trouble and a sharpshooter in Seth when games on the line and you need a big bucket he would have come in handy. I just think 76ers could've gotten two nice role players + picks for Harden.

Pretty cool to see a coach be unselfish and take the fine to stand up for his players in the face of terrible officiating. He may not do this again because Adam Silver makes sure those fines add up but at least he got his message across.

Brunson should be really thankful for Luka's injury, which gave him an opportunity to show his full potential and net a few more millions. Watched last 5 mins of Mavs game and it was all Luka, such a complete ball dominance you'll rarely see in a professional league game.

Watched last quarter of the other close game MEM - MIN and can't see Wolves iso heavy style giving much trouble to the Warriors, so rooting for MEM series win.

Damn, that could have been said after many Suns games, especially the last one, where the refs didn't even call Hayes foul, which was right in front of the ref, until Jae went after Hayes. But last year's finals, that speech could have been said a number of games.

Now lets see the results. Hopefully it will be a more evenly called game, not one sided in Memphis' favor.

I’m well aware. I just think they should have played it out and hoped for a sign & trade in the offseason. Even if Simmons was playing right now they are still a worse team than before.

You love to see it.

Kevin Durant is the definition of a front runner, and Kyrie is all talent, no respect for the game/process.

Celtics scare me the most. I didn't think the Nets had a chance to beat them with the Celtics defense. Right now I don't think we can beat the Celtics, Warriors or Bucks. I think the Heat, Sixers and Grizzlies would be tough, depending on how we shoot and if we improve on how we are playing. Mavs not sure..they seem to play above their talent. I think we'd beat them if healthy though. Wolves not sure either, but Ayton plays tough against the bigger names and Bridges could take Ant and Book or Paul Russell (though he's not great).

Take note Monty, this is how you address the bull officiating we've been getting all season long. No need to be Mr nice guy all the time!

I agree, the league will have a tough time picking who they want to advance. Do they continue with trying to Make Gannis their new poster boy, or do they go with their staple Celtics in the finals? I bet they were pissed that LAL got bumped from the playoffs, so they couldn't do their favorite finals of Celts vs Lakers. And since we ended LAL's season, maybe they are taking it out on our players with that 42-15 free throw parade, and obvious flagrant 2 fouls right in front of refs that don't call unless our guy goes after the goon that did it.

Harden did the Sixers dirty and bailed on them right before the playoffs. Simmons clearly not ready to even play a game.

What a garbage season for Nash.

The Nets at least have the excuse of a pretty massive exchange of personnel, the whole Kyrie Irving BS and never really actually being an elite team aside from spurts during the regular season. The Suns have kept the core from last year's Final's run, we've avoided basically all distractions from the whole Sarver situation, we've had a near flawless regular season and we have the numbers to show we're an elite contender. We really don't have any excuse to struggle this much in the first round

Looks like Utah decided not to come play in game 5.

Look at the 3 pt shooting in the Mavs/Jazz game. Looks like one of our games. The Mavs two best players are 0-5 from 3 and 5-13 from the field. Luka with 5 turnovers...team is shooting under 25% from 3 but they are up 16. On the Jazz no one can hit a 3. They are 2-17.

Man I'm so happy with the Nets losing like they did (except for Nash). I generally hate players like Durant and Irwing and Simmons (whie acknowledging their obvious basketball skills and talent). But that kinda mental mindset, is just despicable for me for all 3 of them. Primadonna, entitled, dumb, liar, backstabber and the list goes on if I wanna describe these 3.

I would also love a Toronto 0-3 comeback

Hate the Sixers even more now that they have Harden
