I think Boston goes to the finals this year. Partly because of some injuries. They should get by the bucks if Middleton is out.

Miami will beat a hobbled Joel-lead Sixers team. And I think Boston is better than them

Trade simmons, durant and Irving. I'm serious. You can't win nothing with these mental losers.

That's basically his playoff numbers without a superstar at his side.

Does anyone have the updated stats on KD's tie or take the lead career clutch shot attempts?

I think it was like 4/29 before this series. This is worse than Claxton's FT%.
He hit one against the Bucks last season and they were breaking our balls about his shoe size for 1 year in a row.

But but but bbbuuutt Kyrie finally has. MF who can make shots at the end like he can.

Congrats to Boston. As a raps fan, they are an increasing nightmare to play.

With this series wrapped up, I want to just settle my feeling about the Nets. I really hate what that team represented: part time ball, a meaningless regular season, no connection as a team, no connection to the fans. Just a microwaved championship. These past years have been stressful, because I feel like a Nets chip would take away the team part of the game.

But now the Nets have taken their lumps. Now they have seen how hard it is. If next year they get guys like Simmons and Kyrie to play 60+ games and establish some continuity with this roster and the fans, I honestly would be happy for them to win it all. Even as a Celts fan that’s how I felt about Lebron winning in Miami; lose the first year and suffer, but then come back and build a real team. The door isn’t at all closed on Brooklyn.

This series is more of a decline for Durant than it is an acension of Tatum. Not one good game and a sweep. Even with Joe Harris and healthy Ben Simmons/Kyrie I think his days of being a championship first option are over. Technically it ended the moment he left OKC

Fun series.

I thought that the game last night was sloppy from the celtics and the reffing in the game was terrible all around taking some of the fun out of it.

But it is great to see my celtics maturing and growing.

Also loving how so many key pieces are still young.

Pritchard

Smart 28
White 27

Nets need to get Nick Claxton a shooting coach. If he had made 50% of his free throws the Nets would probably have won game 4.

The Celtics defense is real and it was a major factor. You can act as if KD could have tried harder or that Nash could have drawn up a better offense. Neither could do much more with the roster on hand. Part of defense is to mentally shake the opponent. It took KD 4 games to figure out how to get open, albeit difficult, shots. It's a matchup nightmare for him at this stage of his career. He isn't Lebron or Giannis who can fall back on barrelling to the rim.

Tatum was excellent. From making plays to defending Durant, mans peaking. The Nets had no dedicated defender to slow him down and everyone thrown at Tatum was either a mismatch or not good enough a perimeter defender.

Horford was a back breaker. He abused his size throughout the series and the Nets had no answer. Every big the Nets did not check enough boxes to stay on the floor.

The Nets still made it close for the games just from the sheer attention KD and Kyrie gets, but the Celtics had control of the games. The Nets stard open opportunities for teammates, but the Nets didn't have enough firepower from the support guys. Sure Bruce Brown capitalized on chances he got, but the collective didn't punish the Celtics. Playmaking though dribble penetration and spacing were missing from this team too. You can get that for a bit through Dragic, but he's only in for so long.

I feel the same way.

This was the worst Nets team to watch. I never liked them.

If they would have won it would be bad for team sports.

Merely playing a 60+ game season alone would have made them far better. Forget the injuries and bad coaching.
