Lets say Kyrie played all season whats the difference ?
they lost 4-0

The difference is they probably don't end up as the 7th seed and have to play the Celtics in the first round. He doesn't ruin the chemistry of the team, and perhaps they still make the trade for Ben Simmons and he's able to play in the 2nd round after they take out the Bulls. It's a lot of ifs, but one thing I'm certain of is that they don't end up playing Celtics in the 1st round.

Maybe, but there is no real chemistry, Kyrie had his game and Kd his game ,your bench was a little better after curry and drummond and nash was nash ,the outcome would be the same 1st or 2 nd round

Nope. LeBron is what 37/38... And he has to depend on Mr. Glass..

KD is Atleast close to his prime... Although he has the nutjob cancer that is Kyrie

Bravo! That's brilliant on several different levels, and somebody slapped that together within hours of Barkley making the bus comments.

I would not expect much from Simmons. Those mental blocks are real and even if he steps on the court again there is a good chance he will never be the player he once was.

You know what, I know that Bruce Brown has been ridiculed for this even before the series (and even by one of his own teammates), but I'm glad that he's actually answered the question and not given a generic answer such as "They are a great team, they have some great players, we'll see what we can do..." etc. He's told what was on his mind and he's actually had a very good series by his standards (14/4.8/2.8/1.3/0.8 on .676 TS%). He was also 9-11 (.818) at the rim. :D

Just stay healthy.

Kryie-Seth-Joe-KD-Simmons is good on paper.

I'd roll it back one more year. But stop with the 'they're guaranteed a championship' nonsense.

Roll back with this team, try and add some bench pieces. BUILD CHEMISTRY.

This idea that super teams can just be built and automatically win titles is ridiculous. You need to have some sort of defensive sync, team chemistry etc.

The Nets are the car wreck you can't look away from. I hope they run it back.

IDK, they are no longer a super team with aging KD and KI. However they probably were with JH, KD, and KI. I don't think chemistry
or defense was an issue last year. Hell even this year they were cruising to the 1-seed at 65% strength this year (Harris out, JH/KI alternating days off), but Kyrie blew it all up.

Super teams are still the best method to build a championship team, but nothing it automatic. Need luck both with injuries and on the floor no matter if you are a super team or the field.

I guess they re-sign Irving to a max contract. Go into next season with Durant/ Irving/ Simmons/ Harris as your core.

Keep the young guys on the team around and jettison the veteran ring chasers, they are dead weight.

Go from there and see what they got.

Hard to find salary dump type of trades that fit into the trade exceptions. Any ideas for players?

Alec Burks from the Knicks slides right into the Dinwiddie TPE, but the Knicks will want real compensation back.

And yet, we would have won all 4 of those games if Nash had played Blake Griffin more (only played 2 games, and 12.5 minutes per game).
