Yes. Not the Celtics.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

It hasn't happened ever because it's highly improbable. It's not impossible. Just because something hasn't happened yet it doesn't mean it won't ever. Flawed logic.

Yes. It has happened in hockey which I don’t follow at all.

I mean we have seen a 16 seed beat a 1 seed in ncaa.

It is bound to happen.

I mistakenly thought the championship Celtics in the 2000's did it against Atlanta, but I guess I was wrong?

Yeah it was Red Sox in 2004.

The Habs also did it back in 2004.

They were down 1-3,not 0-3

4 teams did it in the NHL,the leafs in 1942,islanders in 1975,2010 flyers and 2014 Kings.Only the 2004 red sox did it in baseball

Losing the series after leading 3-0 is the only achievement left for Doc Rivers to take. He would go down in basketball history as the man who did the unthinkable.

Most likely. This is Atlanta Falcons after the Superbowl halftime levels of bad. The impossible that you have to witness as a sports fan.

This guy has never had a comeback series in his career besides trailing 2-3 to San Antonio in 2015. And then you know what happened next series.

I don't think the Bruins have ever even won an NBA playoff series, let alone came back from 0-3. :P

One day, some day, but it will take special circumstances for it to happen. Something like a huge injury to a superstar player.

SSSH! There's one big obstacle to the Raps completing the comeback ... you know ... the extra three guys on the court

If the Raptors pull of G6 at home, then that G7 in Philly will be one of the most watched playoff games in history. Everyone will tune in to see what happens and at for all the non TOR / PHi fans, it will be more like watching Nascar and hoping for the biggest flaming wreck in race history to happen in front of their eyes.

Given the G7 history between these two teams every NBA fan should be rooting for Toronto to extend the series and to tune into G7. The entertainment level will be at its highest.

The officials are the obstacle? Game 4 represented the 19th playoff game out of Scott Foster's 21 to that point where the team trailing in the series won the game. No surprise Philadelphia acted persecuted after that game, but 19 out of 21 for the team trailing (and generally, worse) seems pretty remarkable.

Setting aside officiating shenanigans and NBA interest in extending series, there's some nonzero chance a full comeback from 3-0 can happen in an NBA playoff series. It's more likely to happen if there were factors that make the games earlier in the series distinct from those later. In this series guys were hurt early for Toronto, and now Embiid is playing through his thumb injury. So the teams playing now are distinct from Games 1 and 2.

Plus, of course, are there intangible issues going on that would make a team play differently when they jump out to a substantial lead. We have seen Doc Rivers teams lose series after being up 3-1. Is it that much further to lose after 3-0? So yes it can happen, and the chances here are probably a bit better than would normally be the case.
