It's a shame steph still isn't getting credit. Other than gp3 in the 4th nobody really showed up for the warriors. Steph created open looks all game off his action. Joker balled out but the gravity that is steph curry is still better than jokic to me.

FYI Malone is actually underrated.

Disregard the injuries. Just look at the strategy. I've been following the nuggets closely for the last three years.

Just isolate his in-game decisions. Tonight funneling Curry to the basket/Jokic with Gordon guarding him was terrible. And not having another three point shooter out there late was pretty bad too.

A couple of years ago it was riding Gary Harris way to long when he had been on an awful shooting slump. Not going small with Murray and Morris.

He won't get Denver to where they want to go.

He effectively neutered our smallball offense tonight... thats what he is, a defensive coach. He's done a fine job with bad circumstances. And he also crafted OUR defense, a defense that we still use to this day. He's pretty good.. but yeah, I hope he gets fired and we can bring him back

His strategy in the last five minutes of the game was bad. He also brought Jokic back into the game too soon. I don't care what he did in the first three quarters. That game was winnable and his scheme and decisions are the reason they lost, period.

Closed? You do know Murray is 25 and Porter is like 22. Unless they are crippled(although who knows with Porter) the window is not closed

Their age doesn't matter if neither are either playing/healthy or better than what they were.

Warriors are definitely good but hard to tell how good because of that. Its a miracle Jokic even won one game and had two competitive ones.

The Warriors have been up and down throughout the season. If they had difficultly with Joker alone, how will they look against better teams. So I rather judge them against those teams.

Had a prob with Jokic alone?

A) He's the MVP and had one of the All Time regular seasons. There's not a team he's not an issue for.

B) Caused him plenty of problems and won the series 4-1 with Jokic a -41 on court (had one game positive on the floor. G3 he was a +3). Curry was a +53.

C) Don't expect many nights where Klay/Poole/Wiggins are this underwhelming given all the attention on Steph. First night trying out a new starting rotation.

You guys think Poole comes off the bench next round? Feels like Warriors were missing that bench spark this game, and it made things much more favorable for the Nugs.

So he'd have to be perfect then.. ok

Did he coach better than Kerr, in your opinion, tonight?

I don't know what you are trying say here but Durant and Irving got hammered by the media. Don't see this happening with Joker.

It was a mistake bringing in the guy who scored all the Denver points the last 5 minutes?

Also, it didn't help the Nuggets that Cousins scored 19 points off the bench and the next highest - and only - scorer had 4 points, and even then he was 0-6 but 4-4FTs. TWO bench players scored for Denver. ONE from the FGAs he attempted. Like outside of Cousins, the rest of the bench players were 0-10. Just big oof.

Anyone who wants to use this series as proof that Jokic is not a worthy MVP is out of their mind. What a gutsy performance by him in that 2nd half.

Congrats to the Warriors. The series was surprisingly close in games 3-5, but they were clearly the better team and should rightfully be considered title contenders.

As of today ill take Jokic over anyone in NBA , over KD , Giannis, Tatum, Embiid , give this man solid supporting cast and he’s unstoppable, Clear cut MVP

Your oldest key player is 26?? Its OVER man, rebuild time

It’s like when you heard the announcers say “Uncle Green still gets up at 35 years of age!”

Makes me feel bad to be in my 30s now

Now 26 is too old!? It’s grandpa green now!

Agreed, people dismiss this too easily because it doesn’t show up in PER & other counting stats.

I’m saying that Jokic on nets wins against Boston.... I just hate to see Jokic get bounced :noway:

It was mistake bringing him in with 9 minutes left in the game to get his fifth foul and have to go back to the bench.

Apparently Jokic had a tight Hamstring before the game. He is tough. If that was AD he would have missed the game. Jokic gave it his all. There is a reason this is the first time he ever lost in the first round. This guy is a warrior.
