Yes, both have faced defensives like that in multiple series. Mavs literally went box and 1 against Bron and took him out the series. Once KD was out and Klay went down Toronto went junk zone on Steph and ultimately took him out the series as well
Steph is the most heavily guarded player that I've seen. He constantly sees double teams and sometimes triple teams. It's why their spacing is so good and why life is so much easier for players when he's on the floor
Has Lebron and Curry ever faced the type of defense that KD is dealing with in 2022 playoffs?

I'm glad people are coming around to how little regard the Cavs' defense had for Durant in the 2017 finals. Even watching it in real time was hilarious. And people view that series as the crown jewel of his career.

It points allowed per 100 possessions, yes.
Actually, it isn't:
https://www.basketball-reference.com/about/ratings.html
From the article:
DRtg = Team_Defensive_Rating + 0.2 * (100 * D_Pts_per_ScPoss * (1 - Stop%) - Team_Defensive_Rating)
where:
Team_Defensive_Rating = 100 * (Opponent_PTS / Team_Possessions)
D_Pts_per_ScPoss = Opponent_PTS / (Opponent_FGM + (1 - (1 - (Opponent_FTM / Opponent_FTA))^2) * Opponent_FTA*0.4)
Yes. That is how you calculate points allowed per 100 possessions...
Here
DRtg - Defensive Rating (available since the 1973-74 season in the NBA); for players and teams it is points allowed per 100 posessions.
Simple Google-fu would have helped you there. Or reading Basketball on Paper. C'mon, man, you're better than this.
Does team defensive rating related to points allowed per possession?
Not directly
Does a 0.4 coefficient, or squaring the differential of the opponent percentage is "points allowed per position"?
No
Those are attempts to normalize the numbers.
And that is all you need to know about statistics, people tend to over simplify it, like you just did.

I’m talking about the same way KD is being defended in this years playoffs where a 2nd defender comes rushing in as soon as he dribbles the ball with a 3rd defender on the other side waiting for him.
When have they dealt with this type of defense or did it ever happen? If so please let me know because I don’t think I seen a player guarded the way KD is in 2022 playoffs.
this didn't age well
