Kyrie Irving Goes On A Twitter Rant “ Its like these people live in a Fantasy”

Even if there is any truth to what Kyrie is ranting about. Why would i care about his opinion on anything other than basketball?

I dont see anything wrong with what he said. Separate sports from real life. Yeah it would be nice if Kyrie focused more on ball or quit ball and focused on social activism but, nothing he said is incorrect.

He isn't beholden to anyone but himself in an inherently exploitative system. Just because he can be "exploited" for hundreds of millions and that most people would kill to be in that position does not make his complaints any less valid.

Talking about the corporations who are constantly slurping LeBron/Jordan/Kobe/Durant/Morant/etc 's dicks about how great they are at dribbling a basketball, including himself when he's not off his meds, those corporations? The corporations that keep his name relevant, and provide free marketing for his shoes and merchandise, which also makes him millions of dollars?

This guy is living in fantasy. I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, but the NBA players, especially the stars, do not experience racism at all.

yeah it's really a major problem with him...I'm not saying always focused on basketball every day in a year, but he must realize that the reason why he is very rich is because of basketball

kyrie does have personality issues, but i dont disagree with a single wrote he just wrote.

The problem with Kyrie is that he thinks he's this supreme intellectual for discovering basic facets of capitalist societies. It's like - yeah, man, there are people who are paid to stir the pot and generate controversy about you (and other people in the public spotlight) for monetary gain. It's not shocking, and there's no vast conspiracy; it's just the nature of the economic system on which our society is based. You're not special for recognizing that profit margins drive media. A **** 14-year-old knows that.

This sums it up for me. There are obviously truths in what he's saying, but it's the whole enlightened shtick which makes him insufferable.

Kyrie is at that point in life where he thinks he is the smartest guy in the room but doesn’t realize that there are people outside of that room thinking and doing thought provoking work. For most of us that have been in that situation that room was our highschool bedroom and then we grow up and meet intelligent humans. Kyrie thinks talking about him and the nets after they got swept are somehow racially motivated ?
