I think the Pelicans should be proud of themselves. They've established themselves as a legitimate team, even defensively.

With Zion next year? They're quite possibly a team to be feared.

An out of shape Zion would have hurt the team more than helped and I don't think Zion has ever been the best defensive player so he would have hurt on both sides of the ball.

Pelibros out here making excuses therefore I will do the same. Booker injury in G2 gave the Pelicans a chance and they still couldn't seal the deal.

Nah Pels fans were fine this series, with one exception. But I'm not gonna name names.

Biggest issue was people underrating the pelicans because of their regular season record. Said before series started this was the one team I didn't want in the first round.

Paul flops more than all of them, bitches all game, borderline dirty. I'm not sure anyone outside of Phoenix even likes him.

What an absurd post. A lot of regular NBA fans really wanted the Suns to win the finals last year simply because of Paul. There's a lot of people out there who don't like him and I understand that. But there's just as many people who are massive fans of his game and love what he brings to the court on a nightly basis.

No doubt. I went to the game when CP3 came back from injury and LeBron was in town (I was in town for a show in NO) and man I loved that crowd. I had no rooting interest just got a half court seat to see young Hebron for $50 bucks 15 rows back and had nothing better to do that night. The fans are awesome though, I mean it is NO. Now that was many many moons ago but I have always loved that town and team. Good for them especially since LA and Klutch bent them over and it seems to be working out!

When did cp3 choke?

You denying cp3 being clutch is pretty absurd

His history has been more about being injured and out in the playoffs versus choking, but that OKC series he bombed hard. Like super-sh%#-the-bed-hard. I just remember him losing the ball and playing like an idiot for the last 2mins of that last game, but that was like 10 years ago and I am old.

As I posted on the Suns board, I have nothing but respect and admiration for the Pels and in particular BI and Willie G. They played us better than I could have imagined and there was never a moment the entire series where I felt "safe". When/If Zion gets back to full health, the Pels are going to be knocking on the doors of a top 4 seed for sure.
