It's funny because the same game a guy goes 14-14 everyone rightfully giving big props to one of his primary defenders. He just hit all his shots instead of the 50% he usually gets on the same looks. Alvarado was all over him this series, great defense. Never seen healthy CP3 have more trouble dribbling the ball against a defender.

So overrated When they put him as a top 3 pg all time lol. First ballot hall of fame though. Maybe 8-10th greatest of all time pg. Which is legendary.

But I can’t believe everyone’s calling him a clutch player

Durcant fans can't even see a choker when they are right in front of their face. I hope you had fun getting swept. Rather watch the crappy Knicks than bandwagon the clown show in Brooklyn.

It is pretty funny.

Durant steps on the 3-point line when he could have won the game, then goes 0-6 in the overtime.
Nets fans: This is proof he's the best player in the game and the best scorer ever!!!
CP goes 14 of 14 and hits two clutch FTs to close out a series on the road, with his co-star hobbled.
Nets fan: Career choker!!!

What's crazy is that his last two buckets were short, but they just bounced in. Talk about suspense

Godlike performance from the Point God. This felt reminiscent of his closeout game performance against the Clippers in last year's WCF.

Right? That’s the first time I’ve ever seen Chris be scared to dribble the ball.

It's the most points ever scored in a playoff game with a 100.0 field-goal percentage, per StatMuse. CP3 is also the only player with over twenty points on that list to have attempted a three-pointer and had a perfect TS% for the game.

In a nutshell, it's by far the highest-scoring playoff game ever with perfect shooting across the board. This feat is almost irreplicable even on NBA 2K.

Give us the specific examples of him specifically choking, not the team losing, also list those 8-9 better PG's

This right here is true also, Alvarado was really good, both great performances alongside each other lol

That was cp3 best performance in his career. Without him suns are 1st rd exit. With him they can win the nba title.

2nd best PG of all time and probably the most complete player ever when you consider his size. He has no holes in his game. You’d think teams would be able to pick on him defensively like they do guys like Mitchell and Curry but even at 6 foot nothing he can hang with anyone. Great performance.

He'd be on MJ and Kobe's level and have 4+ championships if he was half a foot taller. They don't make competitors like him very often.

MrBigShot wrote:Booker is still injured, but in these playoffs there should be zero doubt that CP3 is far and away the best player on the Suns. He is their MVP.

Also, CP3 is NOT a career choker. He hasn't won a championship yet, but historically he is an excellent playoff performer.

He always makes teams play above their talent level. Eventually they have usually met far superior talent and they lose, and even though he has set records on every team he's been on for their best record ever, always made the playoffs, raises the level of everyone on the team, because he ultimately can't lead his team to win when they finally come up against far superior talent, he is called a choker. He or his teammates have also often had key injuries which really hurt the team and their chances.
