Can’t complain about the season the Raptors just had. They exceeded expectations and are well ahead of schedule for their rebuild. They obviously have some flaws on their roster that they need to address and their young guys need to continue to develop. Siakam, Barnes and Achiuwa are definite keepers, but not sure about the rest of the roster.

Overall a good season, moving forward.

Future is bright for the long bois, but we’re still one superstar short (like most teams).
Go Raps!!

Keep the core guys.
Pascal proved he can be an all-NBA player.
Scottie is a promising player.
Have other good players in OG, GTJ, FVV and Precious.

They will need to rebalance the roster with more vet guards off the bench, and maybe keep Thad.
I say, Pascal and Scottie are untouchable , short of a top 10 player that fits the team

A superstar trade is unlikely but if it does present itself, raps shouldn't hestitate

Keep Masai and Bobby. Keep Nurse. Performed better than expected

No complaints from me on that season, really excited to see what Barnes can do next year

Fred and GTJ in contract years is something to watch

Vegas had the team at 34 wins, give or take.

The vast majority of 'experts' roasted the team for Barnes over Suggs.

Precious took huge strides. OG and GTJ are still in their early 20s. Freddy made his first all-star game before injuring his knee. Pascal played at an all-NBA level after coming back from shoulder surgery.

Whether the team keeps its more expensive players or flips them to align with the younger core that has developed, I'm ecstatic for the future and way more optimistic than I was at the start of the season.

Raps in 4.

They're paying Siakam over 30 million dollars?
Now that's the difference between first and last place.

Dunno what the plan is long-term. I don't think you can win a chip with this core. Barnes will mature into a fantastic player one day but you will need another elite prospect next to him, soon.

Either the Raps go all-in next year and do something like a Lillard/Siakam tandem with Barnes, Precious, Boucher, Young etc. supporting or trade one or some of our core to grab that elite prospect to play next to Barnes.

However I think Masai is giving this core another year in incubation to see what happens. Not anticipating major moves this offseason. Earliest by the next deadline.

Strangely, they are a Kawhi Leonard type of player away from being a title contender

They had a good season. As long as the Raptors keep developing guys fantastically, keep their great coach, and keep playing scrappy defense, they'll always be a playoff team who is a big player away from being a contender. Their foundation as an organization is solid as it gets and they play in a great city with great fans. Their future is bright. We'll see what they do next.

Raptors have a very, VERY bright future.
Exceeded expectations by every way imaginable.

They're much closer to title contention than people think.
Will be an interesting off-season.
