To Pels fans - great series. I really Zion gets into shape and can stay healthy next year. You have 3 damn good players, and a slew of role players not afraid to make plays in crunch time. That's a team that can contend in my view, so I really hope you guys get to see them at their full, healthy potential.

On top of Zion, Pels have Lakers top 8 pick that can potentially jump top 4.

edit:sp

I think if NO's didn't think it was a clear charge, a horrible point in the game to risk using the challenge on a 50/50 call.
honestly though the challenge system needs to be fixed. both coaches wasted challenges early in the game cuz of bull calls

NBA should but will never give a coach the right to challenge until they get a call wrong. They will lose all control.

Yeah!
You guys have an incredible team. Very, very strong. It was an extremely tough and hard fought series and I'm honestly surprised that we pulled it out. I really thought it was going to 7. Anyways, You're team will be absolutely terrifying to play against for years to come and I fully expect that you guys will likely be top 5 in the west maybe even as soon as next season. Possibly even a top 3 team if Zion comes back/ stays healthy! Man I love your team! Lastly, You guys have set yourself up masterfully in the draft and with assets in general going forward! I wish our front office had that foresight. Anyways, Great series and keep kicking butt guys!

Before this game, Paul picked up a flagrant for kicking Alvarado in the groin. The double edge sword of giving NO's that flagrant call with 1 minute left in a tie game, Paul wouldn't be playing in game 7 if Pels went on to win the game.

I started watching NBA regularly in year Chris Paul was drafted. He is my favourite player in NBA and it is not even close, but because of him Pelicans are my team even though i live in Europe and it is rare to find someone who is not from New Orleans area to root for that team.
In 17 years i'm watching Pelicans, i've never been more proud then i am today. It took one of the all-time preformances by my favourite player to take this team down even though everyone wrote them off before series even started (i was one of those people also).
To see this amount of fight and will to win is amazing. It was painfull to watch lethargic AD all these years after CP3 left. Even though some years that team was not that bad, it just didn't have will to win, it was like "yea, whatever" every night...

To see tears from the coach and some players is sure motivation to keep believing in this team. There is something specialy going on in New Orleans right now!

GJ guys, we are all very proud!!!

It actuallyy doesn't stop there. If Lakers continue to collapse, Pels have their right to swap 23 & right to swap years 24/25 with Lebron not taking the 2yr extension.

Hostile act isn't a coach's challenge. Refs choose that

You really think that was a hostile act? Cmon yall....we cant be that soft.

Is this your first time watching the nba?

It isn't whether I think it's soft or not. It's whether the nba has called it this way all year and then decided to look the other way because CP3 did it to Alvarado.

Let’s say you’re right…that had that been Jose driving, they call a fragrant on him because it’s against CP3.

Assuming you’re right, why was NOTHING called on rookie Herb Jones when he committed a flagrant foul in Game 4? It was just feet in front of the official who was watching the play, and not even a common foul was called when it was a clear flagrant.

Also, Embiid was hit and cut with almost the same type of elbow tonight. No flagrant was called.

No. A flagrant gives Paul 3 points for each of the flagrant 1s.

The only way he would've been suspended for Game 7 or Game 1 against Dallas, is if he got a flagrant 2.

Maaaan so incredibly proud of this team and excited for next year. What’s funny is that kind of hit their ceiling for the year even without their best player which is really really impressive.

I wasn't able to watch as I had a family emergency but congrats to the Suns. It was a fun series and I'm so proud of the Pels. This experience is invaluable and will help catapult them for next year and beyond. Willie was the perfect hire.
