I think the Suns are a better team that don't have the fatal flaws the Jazz do and I think they'll win in 6. That said, when you have a Luka type player, you probably have at least a shot. Plus this Mavs team plays defense well.

Anyone can win can any series given injuries. That said, it'll be tough. I don't see anyone on Dallas that can reg check Ayton-who should eat against this team. While PHX has a number of guys they can throw at Luka. Mavs team defense will be needed to stress Booker out and harass CP3 as Phoenix will no doubt go Doncic hunting to exploit him on D.

Luka's a great player so we will see.

Ayton is going to be more important then Booker/Luka/CP3 this series

Yes...

It's a two horse race, so of course they have a chance.

I think this little guy says it all (and he'll get his if PHX makes short work of the Mavs)

Who is the best player in this series? I think it's Luka. So yes they have a chance. A good one.

I’ll be shocked if this goes past 6 games. The suns are just a better overall team

I don’t think they stand a chance. Mavs just happened to play a really terrible Jazz team.

I don't think the Suns will have an easy win, but I think they'll still take the series.

We have don’t have depth. If Luka, DFS and Bullock are going to have to keep playing 40+ minutes to have a chance, I can’t see us having success.

Luka always plays up to his opponents so I expect him to have a fantastic series even with Bridges being a top defender.

The obvious Issue here is Ayton. We have nothing.

But it definitely will not be easy wins for the Suns

Not really. It's a tough match up for the Mavs.

Suns have Ayton that gives them no advantage with the speed of Kleber/Powell.
Suns have wings that will be better than the Suns wings
CP3/Booker vs Luka/Brunson will be a wash

Suns just went through Hell w/ that NOP team too. I don't see Dallas being able to sneak up on PHX. That was a trial by fire series PHX had to deal with.

It's the worst matchup for us in the West and maybe the league. Booker also tends to play extra well against us. Only chance I see is if Booker's hamstring keeps him gimpy

Depends on the Suns defense. They actually did not look particularly good in that aspect against the Pels. If they play below their level defensively, the Mavs might have a chance, otherwise not really. So in other terms, we need the Suns' help, and we also need Crowder to continue to suck from three, also Paul to suck from three, and, well, maybe then, maybe.

We saw a 36 win team that cant defend take 2 games from Phoenix and almost force 7..............and ppl think a team with a superstar, snipers everywhere and a stifling defense dont have a chance

I like the Mavs in this series, I wrote down some picks before the playoffs and had them upsetting the Suns. more of like a march madness pick than a prediction. not much thought behind it other than phoenix winning so many close games

I think for them to win, they need to attack CP3 and Booker with Luka. He's a big strong **** and he can wear them down a bit. get physical with them & drain some shots.
