Love the Expos and especially the Whalers logos.

Doc Rivers says that while the sixers saw big numbers from Embiid, Harden, and Maxey tonight, one player stood out throughout the series:

“Tobias was just amazing… Tobias might’ve been the most valuable guy in this series.”

Harris' defense really surprised me. It's like he just flipped a switch. I feel like I've seen better defense from Harris this series than the rest of his entire stint in Philly. I'm happy, yet bewildered.

Yo son , who was it who kept saying that Tobias f'kin Harris is *exactly* the kind of guy you want on your Championship team and in your locker room??

Oh , wait, my bad, it was me.

If this Tobias Harris is the Tobias Harris we get consistently going forward, he's off the trade block for me.

Athletes his size that can shoot, run the floor and have soomeeee shot creation ability are rare. He shot five 3's a game, worked hard on defense and provided solid secondary scoring all series. And he seems like a good and well liked dude.

Unless you're upgrading for a star wing, maybe a Tobi + Thybulle esque package, I don't see the urge to dump him anymore.

But again, still a short leash. Let's see what happens in Miami.

I’m really happy for Tobias. The team is finally good enough offensively where he can simplify his role, he’s locked in on defense, and he’s getting the recognition he deserves for his improvement. All of this seems sustainable and I actually trust him a lot now.

When you lessen the offensive demands you have more calories to expend on defense. That shows. He's been good and has come to understand what the team needs from him on the floor. He deserves a lot of credit. He can flush it down the toilet this series with a bad effort but as of now he's got it.

I would be on board if he keeps this up in all our Playoff run.

For now, meh lets just wait and see.

I just think its not his game, so im not really sure this is sustainable. Hope im wrong.

He's been a pleasant surprise in the playoffs no doubt, but I'm still trading him for a better talent or fit with Embiid/Maxey/Harden (assuming he either opts in or signs an extension).

I agree im pleased from what I saw but i need to see more. Hes likely to guard Butler, Tatum or Giannis moving forward if the sixers move on. Thats tough.

the current form is exactly what we need for sure. the unsung hero of playoffs runs who see their numbers dip, don't get applauded by the media as much, but are amazing contributors (i.e. Bosh in Miami) are one of the most honorable things for me and I love to see him playing this way. Love you Tobi keep it up king.

I think the difference is, some of y'all were beating on the Harris drum while he was a: bottom 3 wing defender in the league, refusing to shoot 3's and dribbling the ball way more in cruddy isolation - simply because he was putting up more points than Ben Simmons.

He was atrocious here for years, and he's finally learned how to play off-ball after getting it drastically wrong in 2019. Respectfully speaking he hasn't deserved any praise since this Raptors series. He's transformed into a whole new player.

So do I got this right? He was already having a pretty decent season, comparatively, and then Harden arrived. And at first Tobi looked intimidated at having the ball show up in such a good space for a quick shot. But then he adjusted, even as the initial Harden splash dried up. And now all that talk about Doc being the coach that could get something out of him sort of rings true.

I'm still taking a wait and see attitude with Tobias regarding the future, but if he has truly embraced the role for which he is needed on this roster then it changes how you approach the off season to some degree. He's now someone you only move for a definite upgrade, should that present itself. The thing we aren't taking into account is his trade value is also rising as he performs the way he is - two way PF's that can shoot the 3 don't exactly grow on trees.
