PFF has him graded at 91.3 fwiw. I see a lot of fans on Twitter are losing their minds over it but i am just going to wait and see.

Weird because they have two more picks before 91, where he was widely predicted to go. Guess they really loved him and just ran out of trade-back options.

The Kadarius Toney trade rumors seem to be true.

Yeah since no one really knew about this kid from the fan perspective this pick looks better from the third or fourth round, but I like this pick. I’m a draft geek who actually looks up the videos of these guys every snap/catch for a bunch of prospects so I know a little more about these guys. He has the tools, and had more production with a worse supporting cast than a lot of these other receivers. My only issue is from a needs perspective tight end and inside linebacker are bigger needs. People say safety too, but at least we have legit starters at those spots.

I don't know much about him but it looks like a huge run on WR's just happened...so maybe Schoen knew something.

word. I dont care how shifty he is. Dude is 5'8. I stopped looking at his highlights cause im like god damn this dude is small. Its a reach imo. We traded out of the strength of the second round. We passed on some really good players to select him and later picks. After seeing this Im not sure about the other selections coming up now

My favorite part of this draft is how mad cowboys fans have been so far.

I just don’t like taking undersized niche players that early when we have so many other pressing needs.

I can't disagree...it doesn't seem like Toney is long for the Giants (and he wasn't a Schoen/Daboll) pick. But yes gadget guys that early I don't necessarily love like you said. I'll give Schoen a draft or two before I start killing him. But I think there were more pressing needs.

I like the pick, he’s a playmaker. I don’t gaf how tall he is as long as he can get separation. Why take a chance he won’t be there in the next round if you really like his skill set? The more playmakers we can put on the field the better. Speed kills.

Word. I loved the first two picks. And I liked trading back and acquiring more assets to make a string of selections in the later rounds.

But that pick was risky af and feels like a reach. Like it COULD work out, but would any of us be surprised if he’s a bust?

Like you said, now I’m on high alert with the rest of these picks. I was won over by the regime yesterday but now I got questions bro!

Reminds me of Dave Meggette, and I would take that player every time in the second round.

I don't hate it

C isn't the biggest need for us, but he's pretty good, and it will be a need in the near future. Unless the staff is very high on Ben Bartch, the bigger need is LG.

I guess we got a good LB room?

I think Muma's a fine player, but we have some glaring holes, notably safety and LG.

I don’t know how the nfl allowed Nakobe Dean and Malik Willis to be invited to the draft. Well into the third round and it doesn’t look like they’ll get picked.

Don’t they talk to the teams to learn players’ floors as far as draft status?
