Interesting.... He's listed as IOL, but all the highlights I'm seeing, he's playing Left Tackle...

Well let me tell you, I've watched extensive film of a LT at UCLA along with all of the other LTs playing college football.

Don't know much, the guys on the ABC broadcast seem to love him. Called him a day 1 starter.

Re: #92 - Sean Rhyan - OG - UCLA
Rhyan is expected to kick inside to guard after starting 31 games at left tackle at UCLA. He is a natural knee bender and an easy mover in pass protection. He stuns pass-rushers with his punch, and his shorter arms should be less of an issue at guard. Rhyan is an aggressive run-blocker with good short-area power and big hands to latch onto defenders.

I'm curious if they actually see him as a guard or a RT prospect.

Another Gute theme for OL - ability to play more than one position if needed.

Based on the Packers history over the last 20 years I'm gonna assume he's a 10 year starter. Great pick!

A Lucas Patrick replacement, or bump Newman to a reserve role?

Yeah I'm not second guessing this team when it comes to scouting Oline prospectsReasonablySober wrote:Based on the Packers history over the last 20 years I'm gonna assume he's a 10 year starter. Great pick!

Pack have been very good at scouting and developing oline so I'm optimistic about this pick.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

This all sounds illegal.
