Celtics vs Bucks @10am

Warrriors vs Grizzlies @12:30pm

They can't be serious with this bullsh*t!! :banghead:

And with the Bucks series having ended on Wednesday, they couldn't have put Game 1 of the Celts-Bucks on Saturday? Instead they jammed it below the Warriors-Grizz on Sunday and left Saturday blank. I can't recall the last time there was no game on any day this early in the playoffs.

Worst first round ever. There could’ve been 3 game 7s on Saturday. Instead we get no games at all.

Chuck and Shaq agree with you. After the Mavs game they showed a clip of them celebrating in the studio right after Bojan missed that shot because it meant that they were going to get the weekend off because no games on TNT on Saturday

Yeah, this is absolutely perfect for us. 7:00PM and 09:30PM games are the best.

If this upsets you that much, just imagine being an east coast sports fan where watching a playoff game typically means going to work on 5 or 6 hours of sleep.

The celts or the bucks don't play in the west. How many fans are going to watch a game that has no bearing on thier team? Hardcore fans who would watch at any time will watch at ten.

What does this have anything to do with ABC or ESPN? As long as I've been watching basketball (late 80s) Sunday double headers were always 1:00pm and 3:30pm et (on NBC, now on ABC).

15 million americans work night shift. thats the size of a lot of countries, and those 15 million americans are worth more to advertisers than 25 million europeans. From a perspective of this board, if you are spending time to post here, i would assume its not a big deal, especially when the rest of the world has to do some really awkward things to watch the nba when its live.

i would find this awesome. Same thing when it comes to Sundays in the fall. Wake up around 9 and only have an hour til the NFL kickoffs.
