I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

They got some awesome value picks with high upside in the later rounds. Wish we could have gotten a little more aggressive to get another higher end weapon alongside Watson, but Doubs is a solid consolation prize in the 4th.

Pretty amazing potential. Lots of great athletes with room to grow. I’m into the RAS method. #gopackgo

I'd go A-, mainly because the trades were not in our favor.

Not enough OL's, how do they expect to field a team when the NFL bans passing next year?

ETA: Someone actually gave them an F so I feel the need to clarify that I gave them a B because no Britain Covey = no A.

A - Looks pretty good to me, right now. Ask me again in December.....

The only headscratcher in mind mind - today - is Ford.

The wild card that Gute will ultimately be judged on is Watson, IMO. If he works well, everyone else will become a secondary consideration, even the first-rounders. They gave up a lot to get him and he's no sure thing (I like the pick BTW), but he has every possibility of being a homerun.

SI gave the pack an A. Don't get the love for Philly, unless it was all because of Dean falling so far.

pff has them with a B+

Went B. Think they could’ve been a tad more aggressive/decisive with going after Watson and it might’ve cost less and gotten the 5th year. Also would’ve liked a TE, but not sure where/how that happens and n the first 5 rounds.

Good balance of sexy, meat, shots and patience.

Depth of the draft seems to have met and exceeded expectations as it seems I like more team’s drafts than I recall.

A. I don't know any of the prospects but I like big and fast and they went big and fast so thumbs up.

Only complaints would be overpaying the Vikings to move up and not nabbing a TE

Building a top tier defense, restaking depth on the oline, and, YOU GOT YOUR WRs.

Anything else??

I would have liked depth in the secondary, but maybe they can still pick up a guy so I'll let it pass. A.

It's been a while since we had a bunch of injured upside guys fill the top rounds. Happy to see real potential over potential- potential peeps in the list.

TE takes a long time to develop and we are in win-now mode. Not sure if it's the best approach, especially because we will have Tonyan back and Deguara needs playing time to develop. If you think, the highest TE was a late 2nd and then only 3rd and 4th round picks, which is exactly Deguara 2 years ago.

I have very little faith in Deguara developing and I think he was drafted way too high, but I don't disagree with your premise. They obviously have to take gambles at a few positions, and gambling on Tonyan's health is one of those. I think Dafney is going to be better than Deguara. Oh, and I don't ever want to see Marcedes hold a football in his hands again; Gute better literally run out on the field and cut him the very first instant he holds the football like a lunchbox this season.

Fun Fact: We took 6 players from our top 30 visits list in Wyatt, Watson, Doubs, Carpenter, R. Walker & Toure.

A+

I hate loving this draft so much this early but I feel like Gute hit one out of the park. Just looking at the ESPN rankings, we drafted 6 guys that were graded in the top 10 at their positions. That's incredible value.

Going into the draft I thought we had 3 needs: WR, MLB, and overall depth at essentially the entire roster

The two guys from Georgia were arguably the best MLB and DT in the draft. Adding these guys and Jaire to last years D? I mean goddamn - this unit is gonna be good.

Watson has that star potential - hopefully he can be at least MVS this year.

Both OL provide depth and are likely starters in the future (likely allows us to let Jenkins walk if the price is too high this off-season).

Many opportunities for this group to contribute in 2022, and quite possibly many starters in 2023

Surprised they didn’t take a TE but they obviously weren’t in the market for that at least in this stage of the offseason. Plenty of undrafted TEs available but they haven’t done anything with TE.
