Watching Bucks at Celtics g 1 , we had no chance against bucks either , we were 1st round exit no matter who we play , at best second round exit if we avoid bucks and saltics

Because we never believed in defense and Bucks have size. I just want to see Bucks send those Smelltics home.

It was obvious even before KD got hurt that we stood no chance. Good teams consistently beat us due to Nash being inept

It makes me feel worse because the Nets managed to get swept by a team that's not that good...

We really really just need to get rid of Nash.

Don't forget other than Nash getting exiled to dogabah...

We still can't win when Kyrie plays like a clown!

This team needs more size at the wing spot and a better coach. Ham is on the market as is D'Antoni. Why can't Tsai pay big bucks for them to be assistant coaches or something? I am really starting to dislike KD/Kyrie heavily because they are destroying this team and are just having fun at its expense.

The Nets and Barclays are bleeding money right now so Joe may not want to fire Nash and have to pay him to sit at home for another two years.

Maybe, but being cheap always costs even more in the end.

Every few days I remember that Nash is the 2nd highest paid coach in the league and Jacque Vaughn is the highest paid assistant.

WTF was Marks thinking.

If Tsai is feeling like we're spending too much, we might be in trouble. Nash might stay strictly to cash those checks. Joe might not want to pay 2 head coaches at once.

The Nets and Barclays Center lost between $50 million and $100 million combined in the 2021-22 season, giving Tsai perhaps the worst financial losses in the NBA, sources with close knowledge of the situation told The Post.

I have no sympathy for Tsai on the coaching front. Kenny was Sean's guy. Tsai went directly to the players to talk about Kenny. When owners go around the basketball people in charge, bad things happen.

At the same time, it's just a headline designed to emphasize the disappointing season, but those were completely known & predictable losses AFAIK.

Tsai was happily willing to pay a huge penalty for a shot at a title, and unfortunately, it's not that hard for him or any Nets fan to argue that all our missing salary was what cost us against the Celts. It's a pretty strong point, honestly. Point is, I could see Tsai groaning a bit, but still feeling like things are on track.

How much do we really know for sure about Tsai bending to KD-KI's wishes? Got a source or something?

Also, I get the impression that Kenny was Marks' guy right up until he wasn't, when he pivoted to more of a hand-puppet coach. And we know why that happened.

I know I've been a bit rantish on Marks lately, but very little has gone right for the Nets since the Kenny breakup, and it really does seem like Marks sold out too many of his core values with that move.

We've seen a clear upper limit to what Tsai will pay... Proky would have paid Dinwiddie and figured things out later, he had other issues but this ownership group is a bit more calculated with their dollars.
