They should get back at him by unfollowing him. It's amazing how big of a deal the social media "actions" are made out to be.

To be fair, the salary cap has went up 172.64% over the same timeframe.

That makes him the 5th highest paid LT by AAV, 9th highest paid tackle

I don't absolutely hate it, I assume it'll come out that it's essentially a 2 year deal, meaning it's like if we tagged him for 2 more years instead of just next year, but that's a lot of money for a very average tackle

I don't think this totally takes us out of the running for O line 1st, I think the plan would still be to have who we take start at LG this year, then compete with Cam and Walker for LT next year with loser moving to RT

But it also means Baalke is still in charge, cause this is a move he really wanted to make. Also Cam is very mid.

Seattle has to be a logical landing place right?

Does soon to be 71 year old Carroll really want to waste one of his last few years with Drew Lock and Geno?

Spoiler:
Lock is better than Foles.

If Baker is released. He'll be an option.

He's just a guy. I've never really been a huge fan of him tbh.

You sure about that? Both are bad options. But Foles has better W/L, Comp%, TD%, TD/INT Ratio, YPG, QBR, Rate and at least has a super bowl to back it up.

Lock is probably the worst starting QB in the league IMO.

Foles is a statue. Not a scheme fit.

Lock isn't great. But he has more upside than Foles.

This is clearly a transition year for them. They probably have their eye on one of the QB's coming out next year.

Okay that makes more sense. Your initial said better player, not sure I agree with that part lol.

Doesn't seem like Browns will release Baker though. We will see

I think he is a better player.

The issue with Lock has been turnovers. He has a good arm. Is more mobile than Foles. He definitely offers more upside.

You know what you have with Foles. I'm not even sure that I would take him over Geno at this point. They're both backups.

Lock better than Foles? Don't disagree totally. Because you make some good points. But I had to think about that one, and still think the Jury is still out. I've seen these guys at AZ and at Missouri for years, so both have qualities, but dunno if Lock is a slam dunk guarantee better QB.

I'll say this, Lock is better than all the QB's in this years class. He would have been the #1 ranked QB in this class. I don't really think that's too controversial to say either.
