I'd move him for the first overall pick and for a Poole/Kuminga package.
But considering these things won't get offered he will stay. There is close to a zero percent chance he is getting moved.
That would be a huge win even without the pick. Throw in Flynn and Wiggins to make the numbers work. The reason I do not think they would do it is that they likely see Poole and Kuminga as their next Steph and Green, but it definitely makes them really scary while the big 3 are still in their primes (likely tail end for Klay).
It sets up the Warriors to be the favourites. It also saves them from having to pay Wiggins $33,000,000 + they save a TON on luxury tax.
Curry / Flynn
Klay / JTA / Lee / Moody
Pascal / Porter
Green / GPII (or he starts instead of Looney)
Looney / Wiseman
Yes the backup guard situation is not ideal, but the reality is that Green and Siakam play PG just as much as their team's actual PG.
I think the Warriors should consider this. They cannot afford to pay Poole and keep Klay and Steph. Pool is getting minimum $30 million per if not more after this playoff run. That would be locking in around $125,000,000.00 to just the guard position starting in 2023. Not to mention they have $50,000,000 going to Moody, Kuminga, Green and Wiseman in 2023 as well. That's $175,000,000 for just 4 guards, 2 forwards and a centre (7 players).
Meanwhile the Raptors look like this:
FVV / Banton
Poole / GTJ
OG / Wiggins / Champangie
Barnes / Kuminga
Precious / Boucher /Birch
I think you would look to move FVV so Poole can be the PG (and Scottie the main creator).
Down the road you look like this:
Poole
OG
Kuminga
Barnes
Precious
+ whatever you get for FVV and GTJ.
