i change my pick, with these rules boston clearly wins, rose is also a really bad fit to wade and bron

Like Rose is ever gonna start over peak José Calderón (45% 3 point shooter).
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Peak Calderon (99 FT%) is not starting over Rose with his matador defense

I'd probably take the 86 Celtics not all in prime over that Cavs team with the not great Rose/Wade fit, when you give them prime Walton it's easy for me

86 Celts all as peak is a ridiculously good team. Much, much better than the actual 86 Celts, who are pretty highly rated on the all-time list.

Peak DJ is a real difference maker, and peak Walton is something we only saw for a brief shining moment. Adding them to a peak Big 3? That's gonna be a lot to handle.

The Heats advantage is athleticism, and modern tactics. They could run hard on the Celts if they can force misses and control the boards.

But I'd be less worried on the half court than some in this thread. Look at the Bucks defence...Lopez and Portis aren't quick, but packing the paint with big bodies works to some degree. Wade, Rose and LeBron are less damaging from outside.

Imagine the 81 celtics if Cowens and Maravich stayed with the additions of Parish and McHale.

Why use one team that dominated the regular season and playoffs and won it all vs one that didn't. Might as well use 1992 Celtics vs Cavs in 2018 that is more comparable.
