PG 2: 1-1

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed May 4, 2022 1:34 am

Disappointed how we came out to start the game, as if we were satisfied to split. Fought back in the second half but every time we’d make a little run we’d shoot ourselves in the foot.

I normally don’t mind SVG but he was insufferable .

Refs were a joke but we’re NOT the reason we lost. Not blaming them at all.

Still have HCA. Go get game 3 at home Saturday. Still confident we got this series.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That was pathetic from Giannis and Jrue. Iso ball all game. They really trust their teammates. Embarrassing

Bud now has 6 of the worst 23 3-Point defensive game. Oooof.....

Obviously the worst playoff game Giannis has ever played.
Jrue on the other hand has been pretty consistent on offense in a Bucks uniform in the post-season.

Tomorrow is my day at the office for the week. Time to find better distractions than listening to basketball podcasts.

You have to stay attached to these Celtics. They are a bunch of front runners who will shoot like this with a lead.

Giannis set the tone for our night when he had the worst opening half of his whole career. Total lack of poise and on a night he should have been running through everyone, he decided to take pathetic low percentage shots and literally pissed the game away in under 5 minutes.

I guess? Movement wasn’t great but if Giannis had taken greater advantage of the single coverage there would have been more openings for everyone else. Not like Boston was leaving people wide open.

Like is it that hard to move the rock get people touches. People need to stay engaged, down double digits and Giannis and Jrue say f it all and just iso. Bud doesn’t say jack.

Bud/Giannis/Jrue should be ashamed of and embarrassed by the way we came out of the gates.

We still got this; I just wish we anticipated the opposition's obvious adjustments a bit better. Waiting for the sky to fall before budging is not fun to watch.

So outside of the usual Boston really took advantage of how we play defence my one big concern is we didn't create many (any) good looks from three like at all. Even in out attempt at a comeback it was all without shooting threes.

We need Khris, keeps the ball moving when more players command the ball.

Giannis is offender #1 tonight though.

I'm not at all worried about the defense. Boston won't sustain today's shooting. I'm worried about the Bucks' offense without Khris. Still winnable but we're underdogs for a reason.

First half they came out flat and little ball movement. Zero panic. Brown and Boston went nuclear from three. Bucks showed some better intensity in the second half.

Super strange that they only took 15 threes.

They’ll play the same way next game. Single coverage on Gianni’s, late double from whoever is guarding the guy inside the three point line, stay tight in everyone behind the arc.

Your turn bud. I think the only option is having Gianni’s dominate that matchup making them send an early double team. If Gianni’s can’t dominate a 35 year old horford we are screwed
