No bucks socks last season....The other option is to double down and wear double bucks socks.

Feels like I'm going to turn 85 by the time the next game is. Last time Boston had a bit of rest they got dumped on at home. Let's hope that repeats.

Bottom line: Giannis must force them to double him. If he cant we are done. I think he will.

I have no idea why they went iso the whole game. Why not try the model we had on offense last game, with passing and many more 3 point atttempts?

It takes a loss for this Bucks team to adjust. It takes getting their ass kicked to light a fire under them.

Well, that just happened. Go home, watch film, adjust. Be more decisive from the first minute at home.

Our pg is not good creator nor a good shooter. His defense of course is v good. But offense or offense creation is a major problem

We can talk and analyze a bunch of different things, but you're right. It pretty much boils down to this.

Giannis has to be aggressive and wreck Boston's defensive game plan, he didn't do that in the 1st half of game 2. Hopefully Giannis unleashes God mode in Milwaukee.

Same can be said for Boston with Marcus Smart right.

Felt like Boston got a lot of juice early from our slow start offensively. Once Boston went up 12-3 with like 6 minutes to go in the 1st, it seemed like their confidence on both ends really started to snowball every time we missed a shot.

And it wasn't even so much Boston's defense as much as we were just missing some good looks in those first 6 minutes.

Our first shot of the game was that wide open Giannis 3 that rimmed out, if that shot goes down, it's probably a totally different game. Or if we could have just scored a couple baskets and not let Boston jump out on us like that, it probably would have been a much different game.

This was a game where you had to come out strong and go for the throat early, especially with Smart out. We did the opposite, we came out flat to start the game and let Boston get their confidence back. I would have expected that from the Pre-championship Bledsoe Bucks. But not this squad.

While Jrue might not be some ideal shooter, he made 41% from 3, and 52% of his long 2s this past year. No one on Boston did so well.
Some days the shots don't fall.

IMO Ime will just let Giannis go for 50 and bet that his teammates won't be able to score enough to make up the difference vs going back to throwing hard doubles most of the game. That's how he has played most of the year and Grant and Horford have been up to the task.

I was surprised though how few times the Bucks tried to force mismatches on our switch heavy defense. Boston has all solid defenders but I would try to switch Giannis onto Pritchard or White every trip down.

I would be worried if Bucks had a decent game. But they were straight awful and Boston’s movement was elite.

It’s also weird this feeling about Bud. I trust him more than anyone in adjusting through a series. Who would tell two years ago. The problem is that he still has to give away 1-2 games until he figures it out.

Boston played almost perfectly and there isn’t much you can do when the other team is hot like that, they played like their season was on the line. Bucks looked bewildered and rushed on offense most of the night, missed FTs and turnovers again. Refs ass like usual. We need ball movement and to not force so many contested shots. If the refs aren’t calling anything then you have to make them and throw some bodies around accordingly, Boston works the refs on every call and we probably need some more of that ourselves.

There were some bright spots, it wasn’t all bad despite lopsided score. We split them in Boston, I still feel good about the series.

By the way this was exactly what I expected G1 to look like
Don't know how to feel that it was G2 instead...
In any case, much better than our casual 0-2's last year.

Giannis played like absolute ass. His start negated anything he did in the 3rd quarter and it affected the whole team the whole game where we couldn't make a run. Even when he was scoring he wasn't opening things up for his teammates and making them better. That's unusual for Giannis and I think that more than likely gets figured out.

I feel pretty good about the series though. We have HCA now, our defense has been good (especially the 2nd half), and Giannis should figure it out. Use him off ball and as the screener and get him posted up lower. Getting wing or long baseline post ups took too long to develop (and didn't really develop positively) to get much ball or player movement.

Id like to see more Brook and Portis post ups, plays run for Pat since he seems to be the only one who can shoot with little space, and more Giannis off ball screens.

Jrue's turnovers early on were just as deflating
