I find the games people play to characterize size distinctions to be utterly hilarious. It reminds me of national media deducting an inch or two from Bam every time they talk about him.
- Herro is 6'5 and has a 8'4.5 standing reach but a 6'3.5 wingspan
- Mitchell is 6'1 and has a 8'1 standing reach but a 6'10 wingspan
- Herro is not still growing and has a narrow frame, but is still getting stronger
- Mitchell is stout for his size and is a plus athlete but has only regressed as a defender
Let's just be real about these things and if you want to speculate at least base it in reality.
I'm just enjoying Herro produce this series while Mitchell is on vacation.
People grow until the age of 26, this much I know, and yes I consult a doctor in my family daily in regards to another family member in this exact matter. Herro at 6’5” specially doing upward motions daily could grow about an inch, in which case will put him at around the 6,6” height.
Mitchell is athletic but skills last longer and it is just as effective (plenty of examples with some of the greatest players of all times). Herro has skills, plus he has plenty of athleticism, but he does have a thinner frame that should get stronger as he evolves from the teenage/young adult body to the adult one.
Rebounding in Spo’s system suffers a bit, and Herro excels at it for a guard.
Excited for all of our young players' next growth spurt!
