The Big 3 era also has a suffocating defense.

2013 Heat is also deep and would probably win in 5 or 6 games. Too much talent.

I may pick 2022 Heat over 2011 though. 1st year Miami LeBron w/o Hakeem's training was exploitable.

I never cared for the Heatles too tough. Sure LeBron realizing how to affect the game off ball and peaking with his defensive effort was awesome but that lack of rebounding and C scoring was tough to watch at times. I did rock with Chalmers heavy.

I can’t think of a more thorough dismantling of a team than what the Boris Diaw Spurs did to them. One of my All Time favorite teams because of it that execution and chemistry was spotless. LeBron’s first Finals too but that Cleveland roster made my stomach churn.

thats why i get hyped about Dipo.

the potential of a high caliber slasher that can create on his own is HUGE for a playoffs offense.

We still need to sharpen the rotation\roles\chemistry

His offensive efficiency has decreased every year. And before he had no real competition for his role. Now he has Strus, Martin and Oladipo. His days are numbered.

Strus seems to be developing faster. He can replace the dho game of Duncan as we have all seen, plus add a nice two man game to move the defense...and now ...poof.... he is getting his hands on the ball as a defender.

I really think ( my completely uneducated theory) Duncan spent the summer working on other parts of him game, only to find out his entire game is muscle memory. The dude must move non-stop and hit 3s with no window or he is not an NBA player. Duncan needs to 100% be the best Duncan Robinson.

I think you're right..I don't think Duncan at his best can take that job from strus, let alone VO or martin.

We use to talk about gravity on offense, now Duncan misses as many open looks as he does contested... he'll maybe more.

The potential was on display tho, there was a series that Herro attacked, dished to bam I think who attacked and dished to VO who scored. It was relentlessly and made good use of the shot clock.

VO can get high quality looks late into the shot clock

You're anomaly. Most people are done by the time they reach 20. You can grow wider but not taller.

I think he meant in his pants.

It’s only been a week. I get Philly fans are getting impatient, but he would be pushing it to come back within even 2 weeks. As a human being wishing well upon another, I seriously hope he doesn’t come back and takes the next 2 months to let his brain heal.

Well, they do have 3 of the next 5 games at home so if they can win all the home games, they just have to steal one of the road games. It's not the greatest situation but I'm sure Embiid will not want to waste a season if he feels he can play.

at this rate you could become our starting PF by age 56 DOM!

We need a PF besides Bam, but one growing taller not wider.

That's interesting because I lose a few inches every time I click on one of Vols' spoiler boxes

James Harden vs 2012 Heat
12.4 points, 4.8 rebounds 3.6 assists

James Harden vs 2022 Heat
18.8 points, 5.4 rebounds 9.4 assists

Still an improvement to be fair.

Just lazily chalking up victories.

In other news, it's pretty cool that the NBA decided no games were being played tonight to honor PJ Tuckers 37th birthday. Respect.

shrinking half an inch after starting at what I assume was around 3.5 inches to begin with must be tough iggs.
