I posted in another thread how the big game narrative works. If a player I like plays well, then those are the big games/games that matter, and if a player I don't like plays poorly, those are the big games/games that matter.

I'm talking about real games. Not 1st round matchups against 34 win 9 seeds. As a Dubs fan from the Bay who lived in LA for a stint I've seen many of these meltdowns 1st hand over the years. It's when, not if with CP.

Is JB a legit playmaker? He should be more of a scoring threat than playmaking.

He is. He just can't play with Doncic being the SG, because Doncic just stands still. Doncic has to play the PF, no other way.
While if Doncic plays PG, Brunson can just play a 3 point shooter, because he can't cut etc., since he's too small and can't get a shot.

The only way to play JB and Doncic against PHX, is if JB is the PG and Doncic is the PF. Hope they won't deviate.
