Tbf tho I also said the same thing about the East's #1 seed in their road Gm3 earlier tonight...

I agree, the MAvs should have built a bigger lead. They are also playing worst offensively than in the past 2 games.

I think you guys are playing fine. Brunson has found his shot and Bullock is trying to do his Avocado impression on CP3. Luka doing Luka things. That said, Suns have played like trash and are still within single digits.

It's not just Doncic shooting poorly, Mavs are shooting poorly as a team, so they have some hope for that to improve, but they have 1 turnover to 8 by Phoenix, so it's also unlikely the game ends with 16-2 turnovers also, so both teams have things they can look to.

Bryant wasn´t close to CP3 as a midrange shooter. Little bit more volume and CP3 would join Jordan and Nowitzki in the midrange GOAT debate.

I m not sure if Paul always has been as leathal from this spot his whole career. But right now he definetly is.
Also, i believe Bryant was absolute buckets from midrange in his prime. So we disagree there. : )

I don’t think Luka is tired yet. I think he is tight. Between how he looks today while running and how his jumpshots Look, something is off. Idk what’s going with his shoulder. But he isn’t shooting normal.

2nd half is all about not letting CP3 get control of this game.

Bring back that defensive energy from the first quarter and the Mavs have a chance tonight.

Prob stupid of Luka to mock CP3 like that when he’s having his worst game ever. Paul is sociopathically competitive and this game is pretty close. I guess we’ll see what happens

It's always been his sweet spot, his 'layup", but he's shot around 50% from there since about his 4th season or so, but this year it's like 60%

Keys for Mavs in the 2nd half:

* Luka has to be more efficient and dish out at least 6 assists
* Batman Brunson has to score at least 17 pts
* Someone off the bench has to chip in 8 pts
* Keep up the defensive toughness

I just learned that Doncic and Brunchich are leading the Mavs in scoring.

If the Mavs keep playing LD as the primary PG, they'll lose.
