Definitely in win now mode. And why not?

Team has three All Stars, including two MVP type players, and a whole bunch of solid role players, almost all of whom can shoot. Don’t forget that last year’s #1 pick was hurt and had a “redshirt” year.

They are poised to be the WNBA Warriors for two to three years.

Thibault for Wizards coach and GM.

Really surprised we traded the 1st overall pick away. Howard seemed like a good fit and a great talent.

From various reports, the Mystics didn't feel like a consensus #1 existed in this draft.

Also, they felt the draft was deep and got extra picks.

They also have the right to swap next year. If this happened in the NBA, the GM would probably get fired lol. Also I saw the Indiana Fever had like 4 picks in the top 10 which is crazy to think about, you're essentially drafting a whole squad.
