Only 2 FTs instead of 3 for Smart was actually beneficial for the Celtics. Smart is very adept at missing shots and gave them a chance with his perfect miss + rebound attempt. No shot he's making 3 FTs in a row to tie the game.

I havent seen anyone put Tatum over Giannis, the guy has also been in the league for nine years, I would expect him to be more clutch. Tatum at this point still needs to find consistency, usually comes with age.

Smart should definitely have been shooting three free throws but those are the breaks of basketball. The refs give and take that's why you don't focus on them.

Boston also had double the free throws of the Bucks and JB shot about as many free throws as Giannis even though Giannis took twice as many shots and lives in the paint. Refs call the game they see it's not a conspiracy.

Crazy game and the Celtics have to be encouraged that they had a shot to win even with the Tatum no show. For the Bucks if they still can't hit threes even when they're at home it's going to be a serious grind to get two more wins
