There it is. The most untrue statement on realgm. Smart is an insanely clutch free throw shooter wtf are you even talking about? lol

Because if players were actually shooting threes like that the average 3pt efficiency in the league would be 2%.
You gotta be convincing that you're shooting in a natural motion to get a foul, not flicking it because you heard a whistle.

Youre right in that most players dont shoot threes like that. However when you are down 3 and theres less than 8 seconds left in the game, you're going to shoot whatever three you can for a chance to tie it up.

With the Bucks D being so good whatever look you get will be less than ideal and time is running out. I 100% believe Smart was shooting that shot. Mostly because its Marcus Freakin Smart lol, but also because Im not sure what other option he had.

We threw the kitchen sink at them today, Giannis efficient 42 points, big game by Jrue, Connaughton with the Ray Allen catch and shoot, and they just kept coming back again and again, they just won't fkn break.

Each game has been totally different from the previous one.

That was a close call and probably 3 ft's, but not that egregious. I also thought C's got the benefit of the whistle this game. No point in complaining about refs here. It was a tight call against a guy with a rep of fooling the refs

Natural shooting motion.

Smart tried Harden move , but he forgot about the beard part and refs didn’t recognize the fake

Did u watch the play. He was seriously trying to shoot it. He didn’t even know Holiday was there. On catch he was in his motion. He didn’t try and bait a 3.

This post season is weird. Every night there is a team shooting 17% from 3 or a player go something like 1/9, and they had open, good looks. Look at Marcus Smart's 3 at the end of 4th. This is becoming more and more of a make or miss league.

There isn't a single ref in the NBA that would've gave Smart 3 fts there, not a single one.

Bingo. That call would NEVER be made. Never.

Ya'll need to let it go.

Wrong there. What are you smoking?

The Celtics have to hope that increased focus on Horford next game will free up Tatum.

Bucks in 5. Would have been a sweep if Middleton was there. This is done in 5. Maybe 6. I don’t see the bucks losing at home

This is so pathetically wrong.

Prove it. That was the definition of what the NBA tried to clear up this year. There was no real attempt on taking a 3, Smart was clearly (with an unnatural shooting motion) tryinf to draw 3fts and the refs aren't rewarding players for it.

The Boston complaints about the refs can’t be real. I’m a neutral and there’s no way this game should’ve been close.

No. If you want a foul you got to have a natural shooting motion. Sorry we've lived and suffered through this BS with players flicking the ball sideways to get a whistle, it was fkn horrible for any poor soul watching, and finally the NBA took it away thank God.
