I don't think Smart should have 3 free throws there, but I wish teams weren't able to foul when up 3. Not sure how you write a rule like that, but I want to see live action settle the game, not free throws.

when is it NOT clearly shooting then ? when he's on the bench thinking about a shot?

There was under 5 seconds left down 3 and his jumped in the air like he’s shouting. What else would he be doing. Seriously

There is nothing to discuss. Smart jumps to shoot the ball and he is fouled.
This is 3 fts.
Referees know that, but they have orders for the teams they want in the finals and who gets the title.

That bodes well for the bucks based on Tatum’s torrid shooting in 2/3 games so far

Nah. Can’t get down by 13 and have that bad a third q. Not a tough loss. They had a chance to steal one while paying terribly.

more flop from Celtics mean they drop dead every minute

All they did was flop. Tatum’s flop attempt on Holiday late was an embarrassment. You’re going to flop in a guard and expect that call? Shameful.

I think it happens every post-season. The Bucks were a top team last season and sucked their entire run. Kyle Korver would be hot in the RS and the be locked up in the playoffs. Even your Rockets would dominate with most makes, most attempts, high percentages and then falter with 27 straight misses.

Who on the Bucks draws contact though other than Giannis??

Jrue/Lopez go in slow motion and avoid contact as much as possible.

Allen/Connaughton/Matthew’s don’t drive at all.

Maybe portis?

JB basically shot as many free throws as Giannis even though Giannis took twice as many shots. Maybe the refs were just calling the fouls they saw and making their best judgement calls?

Brown’s were all in the fourth. The refs were fine, home team usually gets the favor. Boston relies too much on outside shooting for a team that has some poor shooters. Cant for the life of me understand why you wouldnt attack at the end of the game when a team is over the limit.

Idoka talking about teaching flopping when he has one of the worst floppers in NBA history on his team is very ironic.

what a game , i need a drink.

None of the fans should complain about the refs . Did a lot of mistakes both sides. Too many soft calls to boston for free throws , missed goaltending giannis did, missed tatum pushing people, the smart three seemed not natural movement , but smart is smart he was trying to shoot it so it was 3 free throws. Lots of mistakes .

With that win is 50 -50 % who will go to the conf. finals. Boston is a better team cause bucks really miss middleton, especially in 4th quarter . Giannis is the better player and can take over a game both sides of the floor.

Also Giannis will bumps that is his game , and its normal boston players to try to get him fouled out, is a secured win if this happens. So its normal to flop a bit.

What i see is that fans of celtics and bucks are respecting both teams and nets "the superteam" trolls are still hurt for a second year . We are both teams builded from the draft and role players that are playing better with our teams.

The smarter team will continiue.

Stressfull game

cheers to everybody.

Smart and Grant Williams have already hurt themselves flopping multiple times. Can't wait to see this ultra-flop strategy.

The celtics had 34 FTA vs only 17 for the Bucks but Celtics fans are not happy with the refs

I mean, blame Tatum for this game, not the refs and focus on the game 4!

I think it's 3 ft's. I will say tho i never have any sympathy when players who flop all day trying to fool the refs arent given the benefit of the doubt.

He played with Ginobili and Parker. He knows a flop when he sees one.

Nurse standing on the sideline complaining about every single call…

Raptors fans making threads about the refs after every single game

Name a more iconic duo

The playoffs are tight. The Bucks were inch away from losing last season. The league is getting more balanced and these games are tough. Physically and emotionally draining for everyone involved lol

Just right after Giannis launch this contested 3 mid 4 th quarter Bud **** up , he was late with time out about 2 or 3 possessions, if he called it then this game would’ve never be this close

Bucks for some reason got tendencies to go a little soft when they leading by 10+ points ,thats Bud job to make sure to put them in line and he was a little subpar today , otherwise Bucks played great
