Seems like you haven't followed NBA basketball in the last few months

The Mavs are the worst team left in the playoffs. Their playing well not trying to knock them but talent wise their the worst left.

Mavs were 3:1 against Grizzlies and Warriors in RS.

has nothing to do with foster. doncic had two straight poor games for his standard not happening anymore. whats enoucraging is role players are stepping up and with doncic likely avging 40pts rest of series this is looking like reverse sweep.

Foster wasn't even reffing this game is the point. If Phoenix gets Scott Foster in one of their home games in game 5 or 7 they're screwed. Phoenix looks like they can't play on the road so the Mavs may have game 6.

With regards to today's game, it was a very ugly one, with no clear boundaries.

No one could play any proper defense, because the fouls were getting called immediately. Also they couldn't really play physical offense for the same reason. So their gameplans kinda went haywire.

The Mavs built their 14 point lead, 3pointer shooters went hot, CP3 was out and it looked like a huge advantage for the Mavs. But the problem was closing it. They had to win, because going 1-3 to PHX is a suicide... And PHX miraculously kept staying in the game, Crowder came back on a bad ankle, hit some stepback shoots... I think the lack of experience from the Mavs really showed up today. Against the Clipps and now the Suns, they were always the huge underdogs, but today in the middle of the 2nd they were supposed to win and struggled with it.

All in all, I don't think anyone can put too much stock in todays game. No one could play anything due to the refs. I just hope the Mavs play more through JB, otherwise they'll lose for sure game 5. Doncic was getting exhausted already in the 3rd, luckily for the Mavs they won, but they were playing with fire. They can't afford such mental lapses in game 5. Hot shooters don't matter, because LD will still get tired and their defense will collapse. Only JB can prevent LD from getting tired.

No doubt Phoenix is a favorite at home.
No doubt some of those calls on Paul were ticky tack.
But Dallas outplayed the Suns in both game in Dallas, full stop.

Sometimes its okay to acknowledge the other team plays well too.

All of those can be true and that still doesn't take from the fact that the refereei g was horrible. Specially in favor of the Mavs this game. Can't dwell on it tho.

And yesterday Doncic got taken out of the game. And they weren't willing to call anything on his drives in games 1 and 2 (but game 2 was better officiated).

If the poster I responded to simply said the refs were bad I probably would have ignored it. Or maybe gave an and-1 because I agree they weren't on their A game today. I'd even agree Dallas seemed to benefit more from questionable calls than Phoenix.

But that's not all he said. He said Dallas has no chance without the refs and the refs aren't the reason the Suns lost both games in Dallas but I sure hope the Suns players get in their feelings like that poster and think so. I like how when the Mavs have gotten jobbed on bad calls, Kidd just says we only worry about what we can control. And it rubs off on everyone but Luka. Dallas just plays through.

So what's the problem then? Suns will easily won next 2 games, their fans will get another home game. Win/win situation for Suns.

Watching reaction from Suns' fans, it doesn't look that way. ;)

I didn't mind game 3 cause Dallas has Luka which is enough to win a game or 2. I minded it when all of a sudden Suns don't get the "playoff basketball" benefit of the doubt and they get tacky. If they had ejected Luka I would understand but nothing that Dallas has experience comes close to what the refs did today. It was straight up embarrassing but that's just me. That isn't the reason why Dallas shot ridiculous from 3 but taking out CP3 didn't help either.

sad when your team loses and you immediately look to blame the refs. In games where that absolutely isn't why you lost.

You know what was the only embarrassing thing in this series? Suns fans declaring win, before series even started. And now you're in total shock, blaming referees, Luka flopping...but not seeing how bad Suns really looked. Even game 2 was totally open, before CP3 saved you ass with incredible Q4.

Mavs were 3:1 against Grizzlies and Warriors in RS.

So we’re the nuggets and grizzles how’s that working out? RS means little. It’s health and timing that’s key in the post season.

You said, they are the worst. I don't understand on what you base your claim? RS obviously not and in playoffs Mavs are 2:2 against the best team in the league. Gut feeling?
