It just further demonstrates that the entire flagrant/review process is stupid.

It should never result in an ejection unless it is completely undeniably terrible or a 2nd technical, like it used to be.

Because they're vastly different plays?

I get people hate Jae, and seems Suns don't have many fans outside of AZ. But saying those two plays are similar is a joke.

Jae probably should get a foul there. Flagrant is ridiculous

"Probably should be a foul?"

Your bias is a bit too big to be able to be objective I see.

I guess throwing a player on the ground is a basketball play for you. This is 100% a non-basketball play and a flagrant.

I mean you are complaining about one call meanwhile this game was officiated heavily in your favor.

You got the win. What else do you want?

Entitled silver-spoon kid needs to be grounded, have his allowance suspended, and his Xbox privileges revoked for a while. Feel bad for the aunt though.

Though ok, maybe USA is just that much different. But I personally believe they are as.sholes everywhere.

Yea, generally as a society the goal is to weed out those people and make sure they don't feel safe behaving like they are, not blaming victims for the acts committed against them.

If you didn't dress this way. If you didn't go to that club. If you didn't drink so much, it can go on. Yes, we should make good decisions, but there are levels, saying players shouldn't have their family at away games because opposing fans might physically touch them, that's not an option. It should be clear to anyone coming that you shouldn't do that, and Dallas will likely respond to this in a way that makes that clear.

Ok, but answer me this. Would you bring your family to the arena that I just showed you?

Apples and oranges, we're talking about the NBA, not riot like NBA crowds (no offense). That doesn't really add anything to the conversation.

I didn't say that you moron. Learn to read.
I said that this could be avoided by CP3.

What if someone threw a bottle on CP3's kidd (I'm not sure he had a kidd there)? And what if the bottle would break? And the kidd would bleed from his head? Do you think his wife wouldn't blame CP3 for that? For his entire life? Sure, some terrible being threw that bottle, but CP3 didn't had to put his family in this position.

Unless it's just very common in the USA that family attends away games in the playoffs. To me, being from the Balkans, is just unimaginable.

That is exactly what you're saying though. You're saying fans of the away teams can expect to be asaulted for rooting for a different team and it's their fault. You sound all types of stupid.

I guess the 2 cowboy hat fans in game 1 and 2 should have gotten beat up and it would have been their fault.

I'm saying that you can't expect a reasonable behavior from terrible people and thus it's best to avoid them. And since CP3 is responsible for his family, he shouldn't have brought them there. He can be all politics if he wants, trying to "weed out" the bad people, but you can't put other people in this situation.

You can do whatever you want to yourself, you can go driving 150 miles per hour, but it's very irresponsible to bring innocent people into it. He should have left his family in the hotel, unless USA is just that more civilized country than the Balkans. But giving how many people are shot in the USA, I wouldn't say so.

Yes it probably should have been a foul.

I've been nothing but unbiased. The fact that you two are calling this a flagrant is exactly why the league is so soft. Players get pushed all the time.

What the hell did he expect? A nice family game? At the very least they would get insulted... He was lucky this is Dallas, if it was in the Balkans...

Glad to see that the degradation of our society the last few years isn’t limited to America! What a shameful take. You should be embarrassed

Ok, you tell me. Who's at fault here? Who answers to CP3's wife? You know there will be **** among the fans. The **** are ****, that's a constant. They are always there. You can't change them. The only way this could be avoided was if CP3 didn't bring his family there. Sure the fault is with the ****, but you can't change him. You knew something like that would happen. The only way this could be avoided was if CP3 didn't bring his family there.

For example, I wouldn't bring my kids to a college spring break party. If something happened to them, sure the students would be at fault, but I would be the idiot for bringing them there and endangering them.

Reading through the thread, it's the kid's aunt, apparently. Is it not a thing to tell a kid who's not your biological child to behave appropriately? I've told lots of other people's kids to cool it lol What's the problem? She has the authority to escort him to the game, but not reprimand him? Ok. Call the parents. It should never have gotten to this point.

The worst is this kid has this 'What did I do?' look on his face as he's leaving rather befuddled and reluctant. And he's old enough to know better not to taunt much less touch other people, especially older people! Brash entitled shameless little jerk.

I agree. I'm just saying from where I come from, I wouldn't dare to bring my family to an away game. Then I got insulted/accused for not caring about CP3's wife and that it's ok if the fans throw something. No it's not, I'm just saying you can't endanger other people, you're only allowed to endanger yourself.

But yeah, maybe USA is just different, but I've seen way too many fans interact with players in a very bad manner. No one blinked an eye when some fan had something to say to Luka. Do you and anyone else really think that those same people wouldn't say something to Luka's gf? Sure they would. And who knows how many such interactions there are and are not even reported. I'm sure many more.

Then Paul's aunt had to start chatting up that kid's aunt. What an absolute **** disgrace for the NBA.

Yes. The key word is “entitled”. I believe he has no clue as to what is considered unacceptable behavior. Typical tone deaf syndrome of the privileged.
