Super detailed look at NFTs and even crypto. I don't like the guy as a whole. But this has only furthered my skepticism of NFTs (I've never really liked them).

This basically reinforces my gut feeling on all this. A few number of huge winners, built on the backs of a huge number of losers, with a charade of some tenuous use case.

The other interesting thing is the “bigger fool” aspect, because there is VERY little actual cash supporting this market. There’s no liquidity to spendable assets (cash) with another dummy jumping in.

For someone that understands the basics of trading, what are the best intro tools/videos for novice crypto traders?

NFT related.

Butt hole starts to get really tight when you’re into some incredibly stupid investment 2.9 million and you’re expecting 48 million but get offered 2.8 hundred.

Crazy, I going to start using the Coinbase debit card. 4% of XLM back on every purchase. It will arrive in a few weeks, no review yet.

No fees on purchase with USD.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not illegal either? Unless there is something written in the fine print but "code is law" so I don't see how what they did is illegal.

This is exactly why the video I posted above is so freaking true. None of these "use cases" for crypto/blockchain are fully fledged and have so many variables they can't possibly work.

That's how I read this too. The system, this crazy stupid and bad system, had the "features" not bugs, in place to all but ensure something like this would eventually happen.

So are we in for a crash? Some charts floating around that shows recent activity is very close to the market before the '29 crash.

I've been learning a lot over the last few years and the selfishness in me has been waiting for a reset like this. In '08 I was too young and dumb. In 2022, there will be money to be made.

Is it a crash? No idea. Is there going to be a big-time opportunity? Absolutely!

Similar here. I actually have a little bit of regret kind of seeing this coming and dipping little bits in each time the market went down 1-2% (1-2x/week) but it seems like there is a longer way to go down.

I've dipped my toe back in, throwing some spare change into some more crypto and stocks. Everything may/will still go lower but you can't time the bottom any more than time the top and I'm patient so this is a good opportunity to average down.

Me too through my 401K (every 2 weeks). I have friends that opted out of their 401K or are having it all put into the stable cash fund. Some sold off a bunch of mutual funds and put it into cash. Stopping now and then trying to time when to get back in is hard. Regular investments outside my 401k though I've pulled back until today. But the investments I already had stayed in place, I didn't sell anything.

Had someone invested $10,000 in the S&P 500 on Jan. 1, 2002, they would have a balance of $61,685 if they stayed the course through Dec. 31, 2021.

If instead, they missed the market’s 10 best days during that time, they would have $28,260.

You think so? I think this is just the beginning.

Even pre-pandemic, PLUG was overvalued. I see it going pennies again as we increase rates. It's currently trading at 20 P/S. I sold my puts way too early because I thought there would be a dead cat bounce, but it's just been a falling knife.

As far as AFRM, they have no moat. Too many competitors out there.

I think investors are getting smarter now and want companies that make money, not losing it. Biggest example now is Carvana. Even with it down over 80% this year, it's still not priced correctly.
