He's injured and shooting like a poor man's Russell Westbrick, but I actually thought he had positive impact last night. Any time the Heat went on a run it seemed like Lowry was an instigator. I'm not a big believer in single game +/-, but at one point early in the 4th quarter he was literally the only plus player on the team and a +7 at that

But yeah, Miami is now tied at 2 because the league's best 3pt shooting team has gone 14-65 its past two games and Lowry is definitely one of many culprits there

Lowry was really good in 4 years and good in 1 year while he was terrible in a 4-game series. If you break down 2016 by series, he was also mostly very good that year too. He averaged 14/4/8 on 42 TS% against Indiana, 23/5/6 on 53 TS% and 20/5/4 on 58 TS%. Good troll attempt though.

Do those numbers scream 30 million dollars? That’s not even touching his age or size. At the end of the day it’s looking like a bad to very bad deal and he still has 2/60 left on his deal.

In his prime, yes. He was consistently a top-15 player in impact metrics. It's not a great contract at this stage of his career though. He's 36 with a ton of mileage on his body.

And Embiid elbowing Birch in the head, hitting Scottie in the face and injuring his ankle are all sabotage, or is that just the type of **** that happens in a physical game...

Please play, Lowry. Your injury is not that bad. Your suffocating defence and your efficient shooting is needed and will continue to cause sleepless nights for Doc and his team of analytic brainiacs. Spoelstra: are you reading this?

most of it was physical play. even Pascal's elbow was probably unintentional and just physical play. however the low-life Raps fans who were celebrating his injury and were parading the streets when we went down 2 games are gonna have to simmer down now. you guys must be sweating bullets over there

Bizarre to see a sixer fan of all people calling out flopping when Embiid at 290 pounds made Gabe Vincent look like the incredible hulk the way Embiid flew. Along with all the other flops and phantom calls for Haren/Embiid.

to be fair he didn't play well at all thus far, but if he can hit 3s he's still a dangerous player. as sixers fans we should know that his shameless flopping antics can change the tide of any game

This was true for many of the raptors runs, his shooting was often terrible but his individual plus minus was great, and the team turned to **** when he was on the bench. And people thought he was like the worst playoff performer. It's honestly strange. He was badly injured or injured some of those times as well.

Harden flops no doubt. I hate watching him play a lot of times. I wish he flopped less because he can be a productive player without it and I don't think he should rely on getting the calls when we would be better off with him focusing on distributing or taking open looks. I just think Lowry's offensive game whenever I watch him play is remarkably limited outside of hitting 3s or flopping like a fish, which is particularly frustrating to watch.

Thats kinda the point, he is not in his prime and now he is a bad to very bad contract. The Raptors got the best years from him, he played a key role in the championship run but today with that contract ouch.

Pat Riley signed fat washed up Kyle Lowry and a Division 3 college basketball player to max contracts.

It was a bad signing then, it’s even worse now.

Masai fired Kyle, but made him feel like it was his choice to move on. Finessed Precious just because he’s a G.

He's past his prime AND he's dealing with a hamstring injury. That's never a good combo.

Doesn’t matter. Flopbiid isn’t carrying that team anywhere. Even if they somehow get by Miami, they’re going to get crushed by the Celtics or Bucks.

Enjoy 5 more years of paying the max to a declining Harden. “Trust the process”

A bit weird to be speaking so definitively when we are 2-2 in the second round. I hope Pascal is enjoying his couch.
