Didn't Kareem win the MVP and not make the playoffs when the players voted for MVP

Right you're not biased at all. Coming from a Raptors fan this is hilarious.

Right a Raptors fan who has no horse in this race is more biased than the guy crying that the guy from his team got robbed. Riiighhht

Same thing happened to Giannis every year except last year

Same thing happened to Embiid every year so far

You have some of these dudes going balls to the wall in all star games desperately hunting the ASG MVP too!

Can you chill out? Be happy Embiid is in the playoffs and could get to the ECF at least
When someone says that the drama that Philly had to endure this year isn't comparable to what Joker had to deal with, why should I chill out. Feel free to not respond to my posts or block me if I'm bothering you.

We should just give KD the award. Had to deal with Kyrie, Harden AND Simmons. By your logic, that's like 6 of your best players being out for the season.

No wonder you think it's a great article, the guy argues like yourself. Empty narratives without any substance.

Who else in the league is even making the playoffs missing Murray and Porter all year? On the flip side switch Jokic with Embiid or even Giannis and he is probably still playing right now

What drama? Didn’t Embiid himself say “we’re not worried about him”? Or are you saying Embiid was lying and Ben was actually living rent free in his head :D?

He dealt with it for 45 games, and the “drama” you’re referring to was something Ben had to have surgery for later. Embiid of all people should be sympathetic of injuries, not throwing people under the bus to cover for his 0-12 2nd half performances in the playoffs :noway:

Hell of a year by Jokic. 2x mvp run. Thats high praise. Too bad his teams are tapped out. Id love to see Jokic with some legit studs.

He was easily the best player i saw play this season.

Let's not act like anyone on this board have given any new or original reasons about why either player should win. It's rinse and repeat, yourself included.

I recall earlier in the season the straw poll was a great source when it had Embiid winning, and the MVP odds were great indicators.

Then when it flipped to end the season, suddenly the same media was conspiring against Embiid…

Keep that same energy, that’s all we ask :D

Y'all were so butt hurt over the Sixers series. The amount of vitriol that came out about Embiid during that series was sad to see. But yeah, no horse in the race.

We don't need to give original reasons because the same reasons that applied all season still apply.

Again, you can't inflate impact and efficiency metrics.

Jokic was my pick for mvp since way before our series (you can probably find a post of mine in the mvp season thread). You seriously think Raptors fans are THAT concerned with your team?

Me thinking Jokic deserved to win mvp has literally nothing to do with any agendas against Embiid or the Sixers. In most other seasons Embiid would run away with the award but Jokic was just that good this year

Jokic is fully deserving of the award. I wouldn’t have been crying the way you’ve been if Embiid had won it

Well we obviously disagree on the takes that have already been shared. You have anything else to add that hasn't already been said? I've included former players that continue to speak up on a daily basis saying he was robbed. All I hear from you guys is all time great season, advanced stats legend.
